I just watched that through and now I am sitting here smiling from ear to ear.

That was a braw celebration that day, I recall dancing along Springbank Road afterward (well a mild rythmic shoogle).

In recent years I recall the following

The great escape Vs Motherwell.  What a day, I recall one of the supporters buses was a double decker and for a moment it looked it might tip over such was the celebrating on the top deck.

That Christmas eve when Paul McGowan put the blue bigots to the sword.

1987 - obviously and for a fortnight after.

2013 league cup semi, by Christ that was good.  Remember you couldnae get a hotel room in Glasgow for the final because all the green bigots had booked them up in expectation.  Still makes me laugh.

Steven McGarry away to Livingston 1999.  A brilliant goal, he let the ball drop over his shoulder before belting it onto the net.  Anyway the moment hope started turning to belief.

All three goals Vs Raith Rovers to win the first division, 1999.  What an achievement that really was.

Billy Mehment Vs Dundee to win the first division 2006.  That was braw.

More interestingly though, moments when I didn't celebrate

League Cup Final 2013.  I was an emotional wreck by the end, I recall the bus being largely silent on the way back to Paisley as we are all out of adrenaline.  At 2230hrs that night though we the game was on the Sportscene and it finally sunk in.  What a night.  What  a party in Paisley.

Hugh Murray V Stirling Albion, that goal.  Probably the most important goal in our existence.  That day I stood and clapped but couldn't muster a celebration.  That entire day, from the moment I woke up, I recall feeling a numbness.  The feeling of relief was tremendous but the realisation of what we came so close to struck such a fear that euphoria was impossible.

  2. I would like to see Johnstone Burgh continue this wonderful winning run.  That's four league wins on the bounce now, gang forward lads.

I would also like to see Scotland make the world cup.  Ideally seeing off the Ukraine at Hampden before giving the Welsh a right baw slapping.

As for the Saint Mirren professional football club pte ltd co first team playing squad I am just too bored to talk about them.

Biggest travesty last night was where did they get the additional 5 minutes in the second half, oops I mean just over 6.

I think the worst I have ever seen tho was a match against rangers at love street where the ref added on god only knows how long, then they equalised through Andy Gray and guess what.........full time.

I remember Mark McWalter was our scorer.

And the replay showed Andy Gray scored his header with his eyes shut.

Well done SMISA, well done St Mirren. Handled like the absolute amateurs you are. Fined 6 grand and no one saying anthing. What a joke.

Apart from bring shame on our club I'd love to know what this idiot has done for the club since his appointment. Answers on the back of a £5000 cheque made payable to the SFA.

What a pile of wank indeed.

First of all, being so quick to jump on social media to decry the club is not the behaviour befitting a supporter.  It is the behaviour of an attention seeker.

Secondly, the club have acted properly and professionally in maintaining a dignified silence.  The matter has been heard, the bunnet's in blazers have acquiesced to the blue bigots and a meaningless punishment has been brought upon our fine club.  The matter is closed and I commend the club in its actions thereafter.

Well done The Saint Mirren Professional Football Club Pte Ltd Co, well done indeed.

You haven’t understood why people generally want him to step down. It isn’t because the posts actually offend people like your ‘snowflake’ comment suggests. It’s because they are poor taste & don’t fit with the professionalism we should expect from our chairman.

    I understand fine.

I also understand the pathetic fake rage that encompasses people of a certain sad affliction.  This is a non story.  Keeping it alive with this pathetic pish does nothing to help our club.
