  1. Unlucky fellows, right decision however. Hopefully by the time it is all re-arranged the first question will be "So Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny boy, The Danster, The DanLen, The Dandonian......how good was it to win the Scottish cup and what pub did you first visit after the win?" and the second question will be "What did Neil Lennon have to say to you after we beat Celtic 7-0 at Parkhead Danman?"
  2. Ah Bulto, it seems like such a long time since you and I have engaged in conversation, too long indeed. I agree that the original poster asked a valid question, a very valid question indeed. In fact I have reviewed my posts and I am somewhat unaware as to when I stated that and such q & a session was indeed for my ears only? Indeed I assert that I have indeed asserted that the meeting itself was an agm, an open meeting, an all welcome, a come forth and take part if you will. The meeting was indeed so open to anyone that I as someone who falls into the category of "anyone" was able to attend and as a result become somewhat more learned about the fans council. Not for the first time my wordsmithing chum you have somewhat bamboozled me with your wordsmithing skills to such a degree that I really do not understand the very post of yours that I have chosen to quote. With reference to the last sentence I agree with your somewhat random assertion regarding self-elected censors. I shall now make a similar random assertion. Cadbury's crème eggs are not as big as they used to be!
  3. Of course this was all spoken about......a shining example as to why the words of our manager should not be reproduced on this very forum.
  4. As potentially correct as one could consider your post to be it is indeed wrong. The event to which you refer was after an agm, an event that was open to anyone and I as a none fans council member attended on that basis. In fact the vast majority of people at the meeting were not members of the fans council. Some interesting questions were asked of our manager and he answered all in a professional but apparently honest fashion. In fact all the questions were very straightforward and as such I submit that they could not have been more focused. Anyway I do hope his every word is not reproduced on here for the Somner's amongst us to destroy, to destroy indeed.
  5. Gary Teale had already torn up the wing nearest the main stand, it was a sort of line from the half way line that cut in toward the box at the goal on the right. Gary is said to be glad to have been of assistance.
  6. Goodness me. I remember being the third person in my street to get a television and one of the first to get a coloured television. I have no memory of my television morphing into a magical machine with a remote control that did not connect to the television by means of a wire. I also recall my first video recorder was a top loading beta - max. I still have my gramophone, it sits under the window in the sitting room. I used to be quite clued up with technology but now I am being somewhat left behind. Does everyone understand this stuff or am I in some sort of techno wizard thread that is making me feel quite useless? I also remember my first electric kettle!
  7. I was there. The presentation by the fans council was really interesting. A good group of people who clearly work hard for the common good of fans and the club. Enjoyed meeting many of them last night and I was struck by how professionally and transparently they are run. The fact that our club can count on it's fans to give up there time to help in so many ways is of great credit to our club and the fans who "step up". Smisa got several mentions for the good work they also carry out so we as the fans of our great club have much to be proud of.c The fans council have been selling lottery tickets and will be doing a couple of sales pitches at the Braehead shopping centre over the next couple of weekends (can't exactly remember the dates but the 8th was definitely one of them). I shall make that my shopping day and will pass by and purchase some more tickets. In fact I would even be happy to help! The question and answer session with Mr Lennon was really good but it would be terribly unfair to reproduce what he said on an internet forum for the usual trolls to analyse and tear apart. Of course many decent fans will undoubtedly not have been able to make it for perfectly good reasons so may I suggest asking someone whom you know was at the meeting or perhaps a council member or even better go along to the night organised by that great organisation smisa, show your support and ask your questions. Posting it on here would not be in the interests of anyone who cares about our club. If I am still of this earth next year I will be at next year's agm to show my support for them. I certainly hope to see many more of you do likewise.
  8. On the wing he will run past you and all you will feel will be a draught and when you look up James Forrest is exposing his shaft.....right at you He may not be perfect but he appears erect, he may not be perfect and his shaft is pointing at you You will not get near him but on the way past he will have a fiddle, you wont get near him but he will palm your middle and..... In the game you wont get much but James Forrest will feel your crutch, you wont get near him but James Forrest will do what he wants to you
  9. Ah come on now Kendo, come on indeed. The whole story of "Celtic player shows cock in public" is comedy gold and yet here we are reading some dross involving what I think is some sort of one-upmanship. Tick Tock, Tick Tock James Forrest exposes his cock Down the wing in goes the cross then we see him having a toss He plays a pass, he plays a pass then inappropriately touches an innocent lass Its no joke, its no joke, James Forrest will deliver an unwelcome poke Sellick will protect him, Sellick will protect him because that's what they always do But don't stand near him, don't stand near him as he will inappropriately touch you too!!!!
  10. Does anyone think that James Forrest may be going cheap? Him and that Craig Thomson that used to play for Hearts would be pennies!!!!
  11. Why all the droll conversation about this, why are we not formulating some sort of humiliating song to chant at the soon to be sex offender? These are by no means masterpieces of song writing but something along the lines of He gets the ball, he exposes his cock Jamesy James Forrest Jamesy James, Jamesy James, Jamesy James Forrest, he gets the ball he exposes his cock, Jamesy James Forrest Or He dribbles down the wing and he exposes his thing, Jamesy James Forrest He talks the talk then shows his cock, Jamesy James Forrest Does he make a tackle or show his tackle, Jamesy James Forrest The ball he can bend and he'll show you his bellend, Jamesy James Forrest or my personal favourite He plays for a team who will protect him because they have a lot of experience with that sort of thing Advice they seek from the diocese about how to deal with him showing his ding a ling Ding a ling, ding a ling, James Forrest showed his ding a ling He was touted as a king of the wing then he showed his ding a ling
  12. God transfer window? Now that would be interesting. Allah has been linked with a move to Hamilton Accies whilst Odin is mulling over a move to the Saint Mirren professional football club pte ltd co. The management team at Motherwell are still trying to "hammer" out a move for Thor while interest in Loki has been red hot. It looks as if Hod may be left without a club after a deal to Saint Johnstone was put on ice.
  13. Ah yes I know you were, I was merely giving the credence to the title of Paisley International airport, a title that I feel that us Buddies should use more frequently.
  14. This thread has not been your best Somner but after reading your latest bout of pathetitism (I just made that word up but it fits so well) I just enjoyed an enormous belly laugh. Not in some sort of clever comical way but entirely at your expense. Anyway I shall address you for the last time as I am about to add you to my very short ignore list. I am off to peruse some better threads now.
  15. Brilliant news. It is good to see that our current management team are being pro-active in signing up our youngest and brightest talent. Really looking forward to watching young Sean develop alongside the much larger but equally exciting Jason. Been a good week this one!
  16. Well at least if your throwing untrue accusations at me then you are leaving the playing staff (both current and former), management (both current and former) and anyone else connected with our club alone. I must admit your child like responses to what I maintain is a perfectly valid objection to this nasty thread have painted you in a somewhat poorer light than I could have imagined.
  17. Well that would be good news, good news indeed. I didn't know however that any offers etc had been made for him. Perhaps I need to start using some media source other than the rumour section of this fine forum.
  18. I also dislike onions, my opinion on the manager is somewhat irrelevant but on this thread you have shown yourself to be a petty and insulting troll. Your use of this forum to make a fool out of our former player's for no apparent reason tells us all plenty about your character. The following words come to mind Pathetic, nasty, attention seeking, dis-tasteful and unfunny You will never justify this thread to me or I would imagine to any decent forum user. This is exactly the type of underhand petty minded nonsense that gives this forum a bad name. In fact rubbish like this actually portrays a poor image of all supporters of our club. I object to being associated with such rubbish.
  19. Perhaps you have been out of Paisley for such a long time now that you are not aware that the airport has moved from Renfrew. The airport is indeed an international airport and it is located in Scotland's largest and greatest town. You should use it sometime my distant chum, it is very handy for us Paisley residents, very handy indeed.
  20. I dislike the unnecessarily nasty little theme of this thread. To think that this is a supposed fan of our great club trying to humiliate two of our former player's for no other reason than that they carry some extra weight is somewhat pitiful. I remember a very young Barry Lavety taking the field for the first time I think against a Rangers side whilst only 15yrs old and I also remember many fine goals by Mr Yardley. Both of these men brought pleasure to the fans of our great club. Remind me someone what the original poster has brought our clubs fanbase? Poor taste.
  21. Or to the aptly named speculation thread where such speculation is welcomed
  22. There is a forgotten song that we Buddies used to sing back in the days of my all too short prime. I would love to be able to tell you all about it now but in line with the theme of this very thread I have forgotten it. Well it wouldn't be a forgotten song otherwise now would it?
  23. I never knew the lad but I did recognise him from the picture on the bbc news. I will clapping my hands off at the appropriate moment. Great gesture.
