A low level politician doused in scandal. His "career" is as tainted as the company he keeps.

Edit to add:  FFS a quick google shows him in the middle of a current bullying scandal.  Its one scandal after another going back years.  Unfit for trust at any level.

The ferry situation has indeed been a costly fuck up of monumental proportions.
However, if the current level of scrutiny being applied to the situation was applied to the contracts handed out to the Tory network and for equipment not fit for purpose during Covid, I wonder how many "ferry fuck ups" would equal that vast sum of taxpayers money.
The tip of the iceberg - Ministers refuse to share papers relating to £200m PPE contracts with Michelle Mone-linked firm - Business Insider
You have to laugh at the Tory frog king at Holyrood accusing the scottish government of corruption and wasting taxpayers money. I know it's his job, but what a brass neck.

That was as poor a Hibs side as you will ever see.

A team that were for the beating today.

We dominated the game without ever breaking sweat trying to carve out a decent chance.  At no point did we try and put a poor team under pressure UNTIL we were a goal down.

    That was garbage today.

I watched the news of this and I was genuinely angry as I did so.
Who do these people think think they are?

It has been a few years since I worked for a wage but when I did I was aware of a thing or two.  You cannot sack people in this manner.  You cannot just replace people with cheaper labour at zero notice and why were these poor employees and the unions not consulted beforehand?

The employment tribunal will not take these issues lightly, I am sure of that.

Our employment law is robust and fair.  P &  O will encounter some damning judgement and a heavy bill to pay.

I would also remove the licenses from the company and nationalise the buggers.

The decision by P&O to "sack" 800 workers then replace them with agency workers is utterly disgusting.
The method of informing the workforce equally distasteful.
My immediate thoughts' were this is illegal, surely redundancy means the "job" is redundant and they can't simply replace the workforce?
A decision that will have a short term effect, maybe longer, on the public's willingness to use this company.

I just watched that through and now I am sitting here smiling from ear to ear.

That was a braw celebration that day, I recall dancing along Springbank Road afterward (well a mild rythmic shoogle).
In recent years I recall the following

The great escape Vs Motherwell.  What a day, I recall one of the supporters buses was a double decker and for a moment it looked it might tip over such was the celebrating on the top deck.
That Christmas eve when Paul McGowan put the blue bigots to the sword.
1987 - obviously and for a fortnight after.
2013 league cup semi, by Christ that was good.  Remember you couldnae get a hotel room in Glasgow for the final because all the green bigots had booked them up in expectation.  Still makes me laugh.
Steven McGarry away to Livingston 1999.  A brilliant goal, he let the ball drop over his shoulder before belting it onto the net.  Anyway the moment hope started turning to belief.
All three goals Vs Raith Rovers to win the first division, 1999.  What an achievement that really was.
Billy Mehment Vs Dundee to win the first division 2006.  That was braw.

More interestingly though, moments when I didn't celebrate

League Cup Final 2013.  I was an emotional wreck by the end, I recall the bus being largely silent on the way back to Paisley as we are all out of adrenaline.  At 2230hrs that night though we the game was on the Sportscene and it finally sunk in.  What a night.  What  a party in Paisley.
Hugh Murray V Stirling Albion, that goal.  Probably the most important goal in our existence.  That day I stood and clapped but couldn't muster a celebration.  That entire day, from the moment I woke up, I recall feeling a numbness.  The feeling of relief was tremendous but the realisation of what we came so close to struck such a fear that euphoria was impossible.

TediousTom got a reaction from Rascal in Scotland V Ukraine, how do we show our support?
    This is only my opinion.

The match will not be off.  Instead Ukraine will unfortunately and understandably be unable to field a team.  Very, very sad.

Ukraine will be replaced with the next team who narrowly missed out on qualification (is that Finland?).

A precedence does exist, if you cast your mind back to the early 1990's Yugoslavia could (of course) not compete at the Euro's and were replaced by Denmark.  How did that turn out for Denmark again?

Again, it is only my opinion but I think that is what will happen.

You pose a good question though, how can we show our support?  I really don't know.  I have a number of thoughts as to what our (western) governments could and should have done/do but we as football fans?  I don't know.
