Would love him and McLean to sign up for 3/4 more years. We need to start profiting with these guys, they could earn us some very decent money. Pretty pointless having them then letting them leave for nothing.

John McGinn has been consistently good since he's came into the first team. He's better than Gauld IMO. He can do some magical things on the ball. He's a wonderful passer. He's got plenty dig. Complete midfielder I think and he could play Premiership football one day.

If Mair was injured and Van Zanten was replacing McAusland, the only thing way that change would have worked was if Naismith slotted into centre half and Vanzy right back. Or even DVZ at right midfield at push with Newton in the middle! We really missed energy and running in the middle of the park with both DVZ and Goodwin in there

Fair enough McAusland was injured. Why Mair didnt just slot in for him I dont know.. Grainger was having his best game for us and then gets moved to a position that hes totally unfamiliar with...madness! Shocking from Lennon, I'd love to hear his thoughts behind the substitution and why he would want 2 players centre midfield with no pace or energy.
