Just fantastic. More than once this season I just couldn't see us surviving. But to do it playing the way this team has done has been incredible and such a credit to the players and management. Anyone else feel we could now be at the start of something special?

McGinn gets my POTY vote. Not just a class act in his own right, but bringing top performances from those around him from the moment he returned. 

Fantastic performance today. Best in years. Mallan's hit for the fourth and then that layoff just class. If we can keep this team together and stay in this division next season we could be at start of something really special

It's with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I am letting people know of the passing of my great friend. Cubby passed away today after battling cancer for the past 6 months. Cubby was past president of the St. Mirren Supporters club up at Knox Street. And for years ran the supporters bus extremely successfully. In recent years he neve attended a lot of games but was always a Saint. I'm sure all who knew him would like to pass on their condolences to Joyce and the family. RIP CUBBY Thank for the great times and superb memories.

On behalf of the McGarry family may i thank everyone for the tributes paid to Tam yesterday.As everyone knows he was simply the best guy you could ever meet.
I really dont know what i will do without him by my side.The best mate,Husband Father,Brother,Uncle etc you could ever meet.

I was talking to a friend through the week who was telling me that tomorrow the 5th March 2016 will be the 10th anniversary of the death of Brian 'Bubbles' Hetherston after dieing in his sleep of a suspected epileptic fit at the tender age of 29. ( I have read some places that the anniversary is today)
Bubbles came onto the scene at St Mirren when I found myself attending most of the reserve home games and enjoying watching him strut his stuff. He was head and shoulders above the rest of the players on the park most games and everytime he got the ball you felt he could do something special.
Just thought I would mark the occasion of his sad passing by starting a thread. Weirdly we play Raith tomorrow on the anniversary of his death and they were the club he finished his career with.
A fantastic young footballer on his day and I will always remember him fondly from nutmegging Chris Waddle to scoring a peach against Morton at St Mirren Park.

My daughter gave birth to my first grandchild yesterday and has named her Mirren Ann (she just likes the name)
Both Mum and daughter doing well in Ninewells
