This was the top billy was actually wearing on the day. It is a good idea to raise some money for a good cause tho, hopefully you still manage to do that!

Yeah i believe it will be between us and united as to who finishes top this year. A result like today shouldn't be just shrugged off no, It was poor in the context of how the majority of our other games have went this season, it should be used as motivation for the players for upcoming matches like next Saturday. What also shouldn't happen after a result like today is that it gets completely blown out of proportion as if this has been as if it has been a very regular occurrence this season (e.g as if all our games so far has gone a similar way to the start of last season) This is only our first home defeat this season and first since January.

Nobody is saying that that is okay, however don't forget that we are the second top goal scorers in the division, just 1 goal behind Dunfermline who overtook us by scoring today, so its not as if today is always the norm for our games this season.

Fair enough if that is your opinion, however i think his work rate up front throughout most games is amazing, he has a lot of great link up play with the midfield and gives 100% most games. Today I agree we did not play well with just him up front, but compare that with the game just 4 days ago where that system worked very well, the reason Jack has been sticking with him there the majority of games is because it has been working. If we were sitting mid table i'd agree with you but we were top of the league at the start of play today. I do think that we need another option for games like today where that system is not working, but you cant deny that we have been pretty good this season in that system

I'm not sure what is obvious to you, however in my opinion he has been one of our best players this season, 16 goals before we even got to December, can't remember the last striker we had that was at that number so quickly.

I think there was clearly contact from Stelios on their player however i don't think he was actually intending to elbow the player. He was running backwards to head the ball and used both his arms as momentum to jump, their player was running forward and jumped and Stelios arm collided with neck or head. The ref is always gonna send the player off for that as it looks dangerous, however i think it was more clumsy play from Stelios rather than any malicious intent.

Incredibly poor performance today, arguably one of the worst this season. We always struggle against Dumbarton for one reason or another so I am happy that fixture is now out the way. We really need another striker signed up in January, Gavin has been very good for us this season but in games like this where he is having an off day we definitely need another option there, Stewart for all his efforts just isn't good enough for this team, and Sutton is well past it now, he has now came on as a sub a number of times like today and contributed absolutely nothing, you can see why Jack doesn't start him in games. Although it was bad today, this will only be a blip, we have been very good this season over the peace, a result like today can happen and wont be a defining moment for the season

Yeah Cammy is out injured today, no word on what the injury is yet tho

In real time from behind the goal it looked like a stone Waller, and watching the highlights back on confirms that. The Inverness defender just completely body checks Morgan using excessive force as he is bearing down on goal. It would have been absolutely ridiculous if the ref had not given it. For Robertson to say that that is not a penalty and a fair challenge is just crazy and I guarantee he would have been absolutely screaming for it to be given had it happened down the other end of the pitch.

Just back in the house from the game today. Thought we were fantastic today, don't think a single player had a an off game, everyone was at 100%. Special mention to Sammy, thought he was our best player on the park today, the conditions were absolutely shocking however none the less he commanded his box brilliantly, pulled off a number of save to keep us in the game and with the way that ball was skidding of the park, to keep a clean sheet was incredible. Probably one of the coldest i've ever felt while watching a game of football, but absolutely worth it!

Yeah baird was brilliant today, considering how difficult the conditions were today he didnt put a foot wrong all game.

Yup i agree with that fantastic night, (outwith the final) that was the best game of the run. Yeah i absolutely agree, there are lots of easier games we could have got, however if we want to win this competition we are gonna have to beat a few big teams. Last season (although we did eventually lose) we were less than the width of the crossbar from going 2-0 up at Parkhead against Celtic. On our day we can match anybody.

Never gonna be an easy game, however i cant imaging many of us, including myself, who were up there midweek for the league cup game a few years ago actually thought we would beat them that night and look how that played out.

Some people are just never happy. SEVEN goals away from home, Davis back and played the full 90 minutes, no injuries or booking which could lead to suspentions, comfortably through to the next round of the cup. And yet still complaining.
