Just back from the game. Thought we played very well tonight thoroughly deserved a 4-1 win. Great performances from players like McLean, marwood however I thought our standout player tonight was Greg Wylde. He was absolutely superb, great pace and skill, he had the beating of Cowdenbeath's right hand side all night and played some fabulous ball into the box, I think he is going to be a big player for us next season.

Happy to come away with a point tonight. Thought the support tonight was fantastic, great numbers brilliant atmosphere and were behind the team throughout!!

Got my ticket this morning. Really looking forward to this game, should be a great atmosphere with the big traveling saints support. Gonna predict 2-0 saints with thommo and McLean getting the goals. COYS!

Fantastic win today. We were outstanding in the first half and probably deserved to be more then 3-0 up. Second half hibs looked a lot better than they did in the first, caused us a lot more problems. Thought McGowan was brilliant today, definitely our man of the match. McGinn had a very solid game as did Campbell who both set up and took his goal very well. I would say we deserved to win by more than one goal, but I would happily take 3-2 every day of the week.

This will probably be a stupid question, but has this game been moved to the 13th. I'm sure I saw somewhere that this fixture had been moved to the Friday but on the official site and on bbc it says its on Saturday.

Dont know if his has been mentioned previously but, on sunday 22nd September, there is an event in the corporate Lounge at St.Mirren Park to celebrate and remember our historic League Cup Final victory with the players and management who made it all possible. It will will involve playing highlights of the semi final win against Celtic and the euphoria of the Cup Final win against Hearts (from 8pm) with photo opportunities with the players and the Cup. The price for the evening will be £15 per person which includes a cold sandwich buffet .The bar will be open and this will mean the evening is only available for adults over 18 to attend, due to licensing laws. Back in the car now. Garbage again, we had a short spell in extra time where we were decent but the rest we were pish. When we went 1-0 up you would have thought we would have pressed for a second but it was us on the back foot. This was a game for the team to put on a show for the traveling fans and give up something to cheer about, but they couldn't even beat a 1st division team (or spfl championship team).

Just leaving the stadium on the bus now. Disgraceful and embarrassing performance today. No fight, no desire. No idea why Lennon didn't play McGinn, McLean was has having a nightmare of a game, Lennon tells McGinn to get stripped to get subbed on and then tells him to sit back down. The whole game Lennon sat with his head down as goal after goal went in our net. Every fan that was there today should get their money back. Shocking!
