Bearsden buddie reacted to munoz in Queens Park v St Mirren League Cup 14/11/20
Nothing sad about it. We're lucky to have a striker who has a half decent scoring record given the service he gets.

Surprised you'd want and support a TV company that's been financing Rangers and Celtic to survive. [emoji23] -
Bearsden buddie reacted to TediousTom in Scottish Football Now Decomposing
I am blissfully unaware of whatever ramblings the scrooge like taxi driver has made on this thread. I would guess its the usual despicable nonsense.
However it is bad form when a supposed fan of football creates such a negative thread about the game I and many others love so dearly, Dribbling halfwits who talk the Scottish game down are bad news for us football purists.
Scottish football is ours, it is our game and I am so very proud of it. It is not perfect, far from it but Scottish football delivers the occasional highs and the many many lows that leads us to be addicted to it.
For all its flaws I love our game, I love our club and I love a Saturday afternoon because of it. Scottish football is the best in the world for it contains the Saint Mirren professional football club pte ltd co.

The SPFL would probably not make a decision on an imaginary league. [emoji14] -
Bearsden buddie reacted to W6er in Fixture List For Season 20/21
I think that's a very reasonable statement from the club. Essentially I realise I could have just given St. Mirren a very generous donation of more than £600 for a couple of plastic cards. However, I do anticipate being able to watch some matches. I imagine I'll get to see about nine games. I will relish every minute.

Bearsden buddie reacted to Gordon Urquhart in St Mirren v Hearts Friday 21 Feb
My son and I went for a couple of drinks in the supporters bar after this fantastic game. On leaving and in high spirts when we came out, blow me was the Hearts team bus not parked right there outside the club shop with all their players getting on.
To my surprise I regressed 40 years by dancing around, waving my scarf, singing going down, going down etc.
Will always remember the look on Naismiths face as he watched, it wasnt anger more just shock that an old bloke like me would do this.
Funny what football can do to you. Hope it comes back soon.

Bearsden buddie reacted to windae cleaner in Scott & McPherson
So much pish being spouted
Kearney had no intention in coming back in the summer
Way back in April this was the case as the stories coming across the water were coming through
It dragged on too long but that was down to money
This came from a manager in the same league he is in now
His words were "St Mirren got a raw deal in the media"
Saying that MacPherson should had done a better job in the summer whilst this dragged on
No surprise Colerine are doing well they were far better prepared than we were

Bearsden buddie got a reaction from Gordon Urquhart in vs The Fakes 19 October
Right, i now realise i am officially the jinks and the reason why we have no won many games this season. I have attended every league game this season except the Aberdeen game and today's game due to work commitments. For everyones sake i really should stay away more often, however im sorry to report i will be at Killie next week....

Bearsden buddie reacted to Kemp in Jack Baird joins Morton
It's not complicated, Jack Baird will need to learn basic passing skills to get a game. JG wants to play a fast counter attacking game. That would be difficult if every pass your centre back plays is directly back to the opposition.
Best of luck to Jack and hopefully he comes back a better player.

What a difference a week makes. This time last week I was fearing getting battered by Hibs, now I'm thinking that we really have a chance of getting something against Aberdeen

This Forum is now a tad pathetic. Children keep it about football and save your slagging matches to yourself. Like 13 year old girls the fugging lot of you.

Agreed. So was Jim "nowhere to be seen" at the kick off or "15 feet away"?
Why feel the need to bullshit over something?

Jim Goodwin was returning from the play area at the top of this picture hence his late arrival. You cant really blame him , that shute looks a cracker.

Ricky: A moot point perhaps but if he was 15 yards from the dug out, unless ELS had his eyes shut he is clearly lying, spinning things to suit his agenda and why would anyone follow the example of a liar or anyone who suggests that it is good practice do so .

Bearsden buddie reacted to djchapsticks in Goody's Report card - Must Try Harder.
I'm bringing up a point whilst I was also at the game. Literally not a person took issue with it. There was nothing to take issue with.
Having a problem with this non event is very petty indeed.

Sometimes it's easier to just admit that something you've said is a wee bit petty and daft sounding instead of digging in further.

With regards to everything in the quite frankly bizarre original post, the content of it regarding Goodwin is absolutely false.
Goodwin was out before the match kicked off and in fact, was actually still jogging off the pitch when the game started, the referee paused the kick-off of the match to let him get across the pitch and near enough to the sideline. He was about 15 yards from the dugout as soon as the first ball was kicked.
You make it seem as if the match was in full flow when Goodwin finally sauntered out, staggering across the park whilst the teams were playing and that clearly wasn't the case.
Imagine being critical of the guy because he probably needed a pee or something. Take a f**king look at yourself.

Bearsden buddie reacted to Ayrshire Saints in Rip Off Admission Prices
Each to their own. Haven't set foot in either for 25 plus years but singling folk out who do is nonsense. How any individual decides to spend their hard earned is entirely up to them. It's nothing to do with cost for me either, wouldn't go if it was a fiver but as I say totally up to each individual.
