Bearsden buddie reacted to Doakes in W7/North Bank Treatment
Here we go again. Josh is targeted because he is the one putting his name to it. (Viewed as the ringleader I guess)
The club want him banned, despite the work that this guy has put in for our club, and the worst they have on him is standing on seats and a pitchside barrier. (That’s from watching cctv during games and trying to pin stuff on him)
Wasn’t there yesterday but from what I’ve been told - the police/stewards were trying to get Dundee United fans to falsely say he spat on someone, even though he hadn’t.
It might sound like a mad conspiracy theory but someone somewhere really has it in for this particular person/group. And want this whole thing stopped. I don’t know why, it helps the club. They use the displays in club social media posts. The fan march and displays have done more to promote the club to young people in Renfrewshire than any of the clubs youth schemes ever have.
It’s all very very weird.

Bearsden buddie reacted to Kemp in W7/North Bank Treatment
This thread is going to be a mess, with the usual couple of self-righteous old wankers giving it the "why don't you follow the rules" shite.
It has been obvious for a while the club has been doing their best to put an end to the group attempting to bring some atmosphere to the stadium. The over-policing of Scottish football is ridiculous. What incidents have we even had at the ground since it opened?
As I said on another thread, the people running our club are quite happy to go and sit in the Ibrox boardroom toasting the queen while our fans get objects and spit showered on them, happy to hand over the stadium to Celtic and Sevco every time they come and let them do whatever they want, but not bothered in the slightest that they are driving fans of all generation away from the club.

We've only just got rid of the dross that Stubbs signed. We've signed a new team that you expect to hit the ground running.
The damage was done the day we appointed Stubbs.
Being a season ticket holder , I'm more than happy for OK to continue.
Tick tock mk2.

New levels of cheating from him yesterday. Should never referee another game.

Coventry fan on an article I was reading a few days ago (when we were first linked) said he brings, attitude, physicality and chaos to opposition defences. As well as having a habit of grabbing vital goals.
I can live with that. That sounds a lot like what Isma used to do for us that made him so loved.

If OK can somehow save up from the drop after the debacle of JR's dithering about with us and AS's shambolic destruction of any feel good factor
Then it definitely will be Fecking Yippee .............OK has to be given time to get a regular playing squad, we can't fairly judge him until that chance has been given.
And if that means a stint back doon a division (and I don't believe it will) then so be it.
Feb will see some improvements I'm sure albeit maybe not next week but let's see how we are placed end of Feb.
I know we are all deeply passionate about our club but we need to be realistic about a lot of things like the funding available to OK and the mess he has taken on and that includes some of us Fans.....
I saw the game v hibs and we competed for good periods actually thought we looked more dangerous when we were down so
I'm keeping the faith ...C'mon ye saints

I want the Hibs job because I need money again
I'm bigging up my son again before he gets released for being unable to do basic stuff like pass a ball to a team mate (whilst secretly knowing that he only took Hayden Coulson as a favour to free up space for his son)
I know some famous people and like to brag about it
Making out there were no problems at St Mirren because right now I am un-hire able
I can't work with a budget but if you give me a shit load of money I might just find some decent players
The Sun reporter is my mate
This guy is an absolute rocket

Bearsden buddie reacted to oaksoft in Stubbs breaks his Silence
There's something about his interview which doesn't ring true. No hard feelings? No fall outs?
Leave aside his insistence in wrongly claiming he was sacked after 4 games.
He claims he tried to sign "virtually all the players we are signing now" but then only mentions Kyle? Oran has signed 12 players since he arrived. Which of the others is he seriously claiming he tried to sign? Anton? Lyness? Hammill? Jackson? The group of guys from Eastern Europe? I don't buy any of that. Apart from anything else, he is, by definition, indirectly claiming Gus has done virtually nothing since he got in.
Then you add Sutton's comments about snakes behind the scenes.
Nah this bollocks is designed to get him in the shop window for the Hibs vacancy.

I know you are a fan of watching the Juniors. That's what level you will be watching football at with St. Mirren if our club was charging £8 a skull for adults.

Bearsden buddie got a reaction from Cornwall_Saint in Celtic v St Mirren - 23rd January 2019 (with thanks to Eric Arthur Blair)
Disappointing result, but can't be too surprised. We did not compete in the game much at all, however virtually no team has gone to parkhead this season has been able to do that. Celtic have a 100% record at home this season, we've seen Dundee and Motherwell go there recently and lose by 3, Hearts lose 5-0 and Killie lose 5-1 in the not too distant past, so it isn't much of a shock to see that we weren't able to compete much at all either. They are just streets ahead of us (and just about every other team) in terms of quality and it just makes it so difficult to try and keep them out. We are just gonna have to take this one on the chin, forget about it and move on and not judge how the rest of the season is gonna pan out based on a heavy defeat at parkhead which we have all seen plenty times before.

Would it surprise you to learn that in the close season 2018 Riga offered an english Div 2 player €7500 per week plus paid accommodation, translator and driver or use of a club car ?
I don’t know where the money comes from for these leagues but it does .

Bearsden buddie reacted to buddies1877 in January Arrivals
How many times does the manager need to say they are at the hands of other clubs waiting for other deals before they will let the players join up.
Some fans need a reality check we aren’t going to go out and buy a proven premiership quality player we don’t have the money to do that as we just seen from the rb deal breaking down we were looking at a loan deal just about to go through then a team in England come in last minute offering money that’s us right out the picture.
No harm in looking at any player in training even if his recent clubs are at a shite level if he isn’t anywhere near the standard needed he will be on his way.
If the manager wasn’t looking at other options incase planed deals fall through or have already done so you would be moaning about that. -
