  1. Decided to go to this one and keep my seat in Family stand. Might end up surrounded by away support again as with Livi game. Can't make informed comment if don't experience it. Still havn't been contacted by SMISA with result of discussion supposed to take place at meeting on 3rd Aug regarding placing away support into Family stand following the debacle of Livi game. Will need to chase them up I think, but will wait till after tomorrows game
  2. This is with regards to all opposition supporters as happened at Livingston game, not trying to limit to family support of opposition. BoD meeting on 3rd Aug, please respond to inform those present
  3. We should have been informed of this intended use of family stand before purchasing of season tickets.
  4. Mixed supporter zone for EK game allocated to S5 of family stand, Anyone not happy have been advised to move to another stand !!
  5. After the nonsense and hassle of the mixing of fans for Livi game and as this isn't a league game, why are they not being properly segregated in west stand ? Why should we be getting told to move ?
  6. Club can obviously afford Sports Scientist at the moment so no need for us to contribute to this experiment at this time, Save and Gym equip........Get those guys bulked up a bit !
  7. They are spoiling our matchday experience every time away fans are mixed with us. they cannot guarantee good behaviour, it is only supposition and hope in an attempt to save money. It doesn't matter how many fans, it is the fact that they are opposing fans. SLO are supposed to be raising this issue at next meeting on 3rd Aug. I would have thought that no other decisions would be taken until then. If going ahead despite awareness of fans concerns (due to experience not unfounded belief) then this is a development we should all be concerned about, No doubt the next step will be to tell us we need to move our seats! Who has the fans interest?

Think it's turned into more about.... does the club run smisa?...is smisa obligated to the club in some way?....is smisa run independently of the club? Rather than do we have faith in either to do best for the club.or to what extent each takes cognisance of the fans. I'm sure both will pursue what they think is best

How many fans need to be involved before we are talking "massive impact" Cost over fan experience ? One way to lose us. Guess we'll agree to disagree. All the Best

Do you sit in the family stand ? Did you experience the atmosphere and comments on Tuesday caused by your "not great deal of trouble" Livi fans ? If so I'll accept but respectfully disagree with your comments. If not, don't tell us what is and isn't ok to experience.
  11. Better not be any form of segregation in Family Stand as this would involve moving us to accommodate them! That issue does not apply to North or West Stands
  12. Just to say that SLO have informed me that they will raise matter with BoD at next meeting on 3rd Aug and then get back with outcome.
  13. Why should we have to move when there is a dedicated away section in West stand for cup games not to mention us having an actual away stand? You then open up the discussion regarding what point there is in being allowed to purchase your own season ticket seat for the season when you're only going to be forced to move elsewhere!
  14. Then you put the kids in with our shouty sweary fans Away fans - Away stand it's that simple
  15. From my vantage point stuck in middle of Livi fans there was no evidence of drunkenness, just a hostility towards our team and fans. To expect and believe it ok for your home support to experience this in their own stand is plain wrong particularly when children are experiencing it. Segregating within a particular section of stand will not work either, unless the club is going to adopt a don't care attitude to the season ticket holders and insist they move to accommodate the away support, we havn't all chosen to sit on one side of stand. This idea must be knocked on the head now before someone suggests it for Airdrie game! Who makes the decision? Who is best person to take this up on fans behalf?
  16. Club please take note. This was not a pleasant experience and I am not referring to our performance. Responses were made in reaction to foul language to no avail. Stewards on hearing foul language only looked in general direction, not able to identify specific culprits and not even moving from seat to signify it had been heard. We will lose children and their parents from games as parents will not tolerate this. Aggressive tone and manner of support made it very uncomfortable, particularly in West section, where we were well outnumbered and isolated amongst them as a result of free for all seating adopted by them. This may be ok against teams like Spartans whose fans number in 10's, here we are talking over 100 vociferous, reactive fans. My daughter even commented on how bad it was and that it felt threatening. No more mixing of fans, use North stand or we'll lose kids and parents What and Who matters most to this Club ? I've also put this on official site in hope that someone with clout might see it and ensure there is no repetition.

I did indeed and make no apology for it. The implication behind the comment by the manager, if true, needed clarification and I have thanked TsuMirren for doing so in addition to official personal response from smisa. An unfortunate comment by manager, nothing more. Roll on the next vote !

Got smisa response. Club did approach them. It'll be one of the spend options next vote. Manager mistaken in what he understood.

Respectfully disagree. Are you saying Mr Ross wasn't told 1 He now had a sports scientist for the season 2 That smisa had provided partial finance And if not, who were the players with that couldn't make the open day, the ones that Mr Ross stated were with the sports scientist. Who's fooling who ?

Sorry people but organisations work to rules and the allocation of monies without consultation is a big no no unless that is one of the rules. If someone wants to provide that evidence then fair enough I'll back off. I understood smisa to be a representative body for the fans to have their voice heard, not an elected body who can use our monies as they see fit. This should all be easily and quickly clarified.

Just to be clear I am all for having a sports scientist and for us to help with the finance. Don't even have issue with manager making comment on something he's been told. Would have issue however if this has in fact already been arranged as described by manager.

Clarification needed, think we need to be sure one way or the other.

Sent email to smisa yesterday still awaiting response. Didn't sound like The manager "jumped the gun" he sounded very definite that this position had been filled, not that it was being pursued.
