Apologies in advance if I've missed this. Manager at open day today said that thanks in part due to smisa members contributions the club now has the services of sport scientist for this season. How and when was this arranged and agreed to? Not complaining but don't recall it being discussed or put out for vote.

As it tends to be the most diehard fans of teams that attend the away games (generally speaking), is there any evidence of increased steward interventions with regard to foul language when opposing fans are mixed in family stands ?

How about letting the players take turns to pick the tune they want to walk on to ? Could be interesting and perhaps more motivational for them rather than pleasing us !

Was thinking we should try and find 3 songs for this season which will become tunes you immediately associate with club when heard no matter where you are.. Get us all reacting together as was the way at end of last season. Something to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. 1. To accompany players onto park at start Something Anthemy ? 2. When we score a goal Instrumentally catchy ? 3. At final whistle, something to sing to as we are walking out. Upbeat and catchy Popish ?, Juicy Wiggle and players could do the dance before leaving pitch : ) Blues Bros...Everybody? Keeping usual repertoire and individual player song for during games. Any thoughts or am I talking mince and it's fine the way it is? Been to Grunting Growler earlier, away to finish my beers now.

They're lucky to have such a big squad that they don't need an emergency loan to be arranged !!

Have to get emergency loans but then later happy to field youngsters. Surely double standards, unfair practice and complete lack of respect for fellow professionals. Disgraceful if allowed to go ahead unquestioned by authorities given importance of situation to all teams involved in relegation games.

What chance smisa just keep all the £2 payments for each season and use to help keep Jack Ross from leaving. If it can be used for player pool then surely Manager can be included.

Cheers for response. Not advocating any form of discrimination, just a wee bit of clarity surrounding the thinking behind it. Got impression from official wording that club/smisa not expecting any return whatsoever from this outlay.

Just a thought on the £6,000 for season tickets. Reading the posts am getting bit confused as to purpose, Is this use of the money to invite various groups to games with view to enticing them to return in a paying capacity and so boost support and income ? Or is it to use as charitable gift to those groups who can't afford ? Clarification anyone, as there really is a big difference in purpose here.

Decided not to agree with strips for a youth team. Money should be spent to benefit club in some way. Are we saying that by sponsoring a clubs kit that they will then become St Mirren fans? Don't think so. Want to raise profile of club and get youngsters to pick our club, I feel we should be supporting the Street Wise initiative and Panda Club first and foremost before giving money away to any unconnected club. Has anyone checked if Street Wise or Panda Club have everything they need to maintain and indeed further their own agendas? Just saying.
