Got to disagree with that one SPS.
I think his hold up play is superb and he regularly shows great strength to hold off much bigger players.

I still want Accies down and be nice to get shot of killie to.... get rid of two plastic pitches..... hopefully we will not get 0-3s implemented and Newcastle's covid plight may well help us . 8 points clear of 12th with 3 games in hand means we might actually look up in 2021 and a semi final and Scots at Euros. A deal.... no trump and a vaccine...feck its  wonderful life !!

Sports science is one of many areas we’ve fallen behind on. Your view is that of an absolute dinosaur and I’m just glad people like you and Shull are a dying breed and small minority.

Why don't we get involved as well,  1.8mill  minus our 33%   then sell him to Celtic for 2 million, plus Scott Allan with a 20% sell on clause,   800k profit and we have Scott Allan,  how`s that for a bit of business
We could use the ring fenced money am sure no one would object

Do you actually think that the plan is to have all these clubs rebranded - you don't show much respect for the intelligence of the people who run these clubs or indeed for your own intelligence - for example, local youth football teams would not be able to tell each other apart, never mind the nightmare the ref would have, if they played each other and all wore saints tops.
The idea is to get kids wearing saints tops (instead of barca, man u, man c, sunderland, etc., tops) when they are out and about.
Rebranding local clubs is something you have made up to get reaction, i don't usually react to your posts, and frankly i feel ill now.

I understand that there's an issue re clarity over some elements of the business plan - ideas on how additional revenues are brought in, ways to further engage with the community etc - but I think the key element of the 'Buy the Buds' bid is that the fans are able to query these things, and participate in the discussion. I'm not sure that I understand the thinking that any lack of clarity on these issues should lead to the bid not being supported.
Members can push SMISA/GS/the new BoD on these issues from a position of increased strength IF the bid is successful. If the bid isn't successful, and the BoD end up selling to a businessman/consortium, then I'm sure that they'll be happy to make promises about business plans, footballing ambition, improved facilities, fan and community engagement and tell us all what they think we want to hear, but they'll end up doing whatever suits them and I doubt if they'll bother too much about listening to fans or the community. That may be a generalisation, but it's based upon the experiences of a significant number of clubs across the UK over the past 10-20 years.

I completely disagree with that summary mate.
The current board have run the club superbly well as a business ever since they took over. You only need to look at other absolute basket cases of clubs in Scotland to appreciate what they have done for us. The independent report that SMiSA commissioned to value the club has also concluded that the club was very well run.
There are a few reasons why the club hasn't been sold but it being poorly run is certainly not one of them.

And nobody has even touched on the lack of segregation outside the ground now!
I thought Police Scotland were intent in keeping rival supports apart?
If the mutant hoardes are at both ends of the stadium, what home support that is brave enough to turn up will be surrounded.
    Parking?
I always park at the back of the South stand.
If I go, I will either have to walk past their support before and after the match... If I am lucky or unlucky enough to get parked there at all.
This decision has truly angered me.
I realise the family stand is usually sparsely populated when that lot visit.
Are the board too thick to realise that it is because of the poisonous atmosphete and that increasing the venom and hatred is like trying to put out a fire with petrol?

If ever there was a game we should boycott - this is it. Fill the ground with Saints fans? Aye, did ye' Fitzy? Don't go near the fcuking place. Give them the whole ground Gilmour & Co. When a boycott is discussed, anyone suggesting it gets ripped to pieces for 'damaging the club'... The board are doing a damn fine job with the damaging, not us. 'One town one team' - aye, my fcuking arse. I have a car park pass and a seat sandwiched between two stands full of gurning championship winning neanderthals? Fcuk off Gilmour & Co.
As an aside, use a couple of hundred quid from their money to actually get the Hall of Fame panel you received the artwork for back in early January printed and installed. It's only taken over two years and after being asked to do the artwork in December, and doing it for you over the Christmas holidays, you still haven't bothered to print and install a simple printed panel and we're halfway through March. How fcuking hard can it be FFS? Useless fcuking Sevco arse-licking barstewards.

Just checking my calendar, but no, still over two weeks until 1st April.
What is there left to say? This club is an embarrassment, giving over its family stand to the most objectionable and offensive away support in the country.

Can we not just play it at Ibrox and get 50% of the gate or would even our board view this as a step too far.
Is Phil being told when to play Penny Arcade or Simply the Best to accommodate the 'unprecedented demand' for it?
    This decision is a joke.

Maybe 'The Board' would like to sit in the West Stand and experience what it's like to have your club's ground taken over by some of the most vile individuals you'll never want to meet? Openly flouting every stadium rule they can, while we'll be stewarded and policed in a far stricter way.
Money rules though, and anyone with the slightest idea that fans actually matter, other than as a steady revenue stream, must be deluded.

The skinny is the board yet again are taking the only people who put money into SMFC without ever.... Expecting it back, up the ronson lighter... And yet again wr are taking it... They must be laughing their socks off at the cash cow that is a saints fan!
they can actually do what they want, and we will not only give them more money, but may actually buy them out too.
Somebody had to pay for that Fans Council bar, turns out it was families, children and the Panda club... I Suspect here will be no bragging about how many of us sign up for season tickets next time as it drops off yet again...

Investors ?? Are you sure that is the correct terminology ??
Since when did pumping hard-earned £££ into a diddy club equate to an investment ?? Just ask Stewart Gilmour or George Campbell how their investment in St Mirren is performing for them. They could have pished their money away in Las Vegas or Monte Carlo and had some fun instead of the misery and stress they have suffered while striving to keeping St Mirren afloat.
And why do all the rumours posted on B&W Army always seem to involve a consortium ? Consortiums (consortia ?) imply a need for combined wealth from a number of rich investors. Right now St Mirren could be purchased for buttons, a pocketful of loose change for anyone who has had a vaguely successful career in football. For instance, Peter Crouch could buy St Mirren or instead he could cough up for 4 frocks for Abby Clancy. Which choice is more likely to guarantee him his Nat King Cole ?
St Mirren desperately needs a new owner but the danger is that we could be picked up by someone as a plaything (similar to Romanov ?). What we need is a mega-rich philanthropist who has a deep emotional attachment to the club and who can afford to shrug off financial losses.
If that fantasy owner doesn't exist then maybe SMISA (and safe mediocrity) is our best hope.

FFS, how can people still be complaining about results, 3 points is 3 points. yeah it would be great to be playing brilliant football, creating chance after chance and winning games easily, but lets get real, we've been brutal for years, we have rarely won 2 games in a row and the football hasn't been great, christ even when we were playing some nice stuff when Danny first came in we struggled in most games and still never won that many.
Rae has been told to come in and sort the mess on the field out, he's starting to do that and everything is about getting points, i said it weeks ago i don't give a toss if we are brutal on the eye, we just need points on the board. in the 30 years I've followed saints i think there have been 1 maybe 2 seasons at a push that have been exciting and i looked forward to every game knowing i would get entertained. following Saints isn't always going to be pretty on the eye and we won't see the team brush others aside with ease, but thats what makes it all the sweeter when we do get the occasional outstanding performance.
if you want 90 minutes of free flowing football and a team creating a heap of chances then maybe following Saints isn't for you. Take a look around the game in Scotland and let me know how many teams are worth watching, i will say you will be lucky to find 1 or 2. Just get behind the team ffs
