Another nanny state interference. And it will never work. There was a 40 something woman actually interviewed saying, and I kid you not, "I wish the ban was in place when I was 11!. BIG NEWS HEN. IT WAS! You were smoking illegally.
The only way this can work medium to long term is the introduction of identity cards to show you're 25, not 24, or 35, not 34.
I stopped smoking almost 30 years ago but, if the government are allowing sale of tobacco to one adult, it should be the same for all adults. Yes. Use education as a weapon against it but not this.
It's bad enough that the overbearing Scottish Parliament is trying to stop all those but the well off to have a drink without interfering even more with people's rights.
Drastic oversimplification on the drink there
most drinks were above the minimum unit price when it was introduced and only the high strength changed significantly
my wife has Finromyalgia and her rheumatologist told us that smoking in homes was to blame
she told us the SNP had a plan to ban all tobacco sales that was dropped after the tobacco companies threatened to ruin the country with law suits
I’d agree Sunak’s ban is gibberish though and he is only doing it to lay a trap for the incoming government

Was undecided about this, may well have to get Mrs S convinced
I watched the first episode fully and made it halfway through the second before quitting
Stylised re-hash (no pun intended) of other series like breaking bad and better call saul played by actors who look as if they would rather be getting a root canal without pain meds than cycle their way through this pish. Not an original moment in the whole thing

'THIS FORUM' is fooked. The amount of non related saints activity and far too many pointless threads have completely ruined this forum. The countless pointless threads and posts have drenched the forum more than dens park. I would suggest a severe thinning of the forum and a limit of 3 posts a day per person if the forum is to survive. It would be a shame to see it disappear altogether but it looks like it is heading that way unless restructured.
It's become a receptacle for conspiracy theorists, racists who think they aren't letting it show, inane drively vids of social nuisances doing "audits" and essays on "what we did on our holiday".

I'm not going to watch it as the law is still in place as written,
therefore the above is merely reactionary clickbait for brain-dead trolls who need someone else to hate in order to divert from their self-loathing

Wow! A whole page of losers, sorry "auditors" being a nuisance in the hope that they can intimidate or harass a police officer into doing something they can claim compo for.

Maybe 700-ish home tickets are still available for Saturday and to avoid a match day rush I think the club should consider a cut-price offer for registered ticket site users for e-tickets only that are bought before Saturday. It will be bad enough with people who already purchased tickets rocking up to the kiosk at 2' o' clock

I previously said i think we can get 4th on GD if we at least match Killie's other results and beat them Post-split
It will be very tight though and is really not in our hands as they only have to draw against us and match our points from other games.
4th place would be great but only on it's own merits, Europe is an unnecessary drag on our pre-season and has proven a huge millstone for other clubs of our size in Scotland. We are 3 players short of a side capable of getting through qualifying and unless you qualify for the group stages it's a bit of a money pit.

Think those last two away performances will play a big part in ticket sales. Taking a single point from two games we had leads in will have taken its toll.
Getting fans behind a team that aren’t delivering for the fans is a big ask.
But you were telling us a few months ago that things are going so well both on and off the park
I think the squad looks tired already this season and it is happening even earlier than it did last year. We are what we are, short of resources and with some money wasted on less than impressive signings in the last two seasons we don't have the quality either in goals or in front of goal that we need to be higher up the table. I'll still be happy if we get 5th and 4th is still not out the question (though i believe that McInnes has Killie too mentally strong to blow their advantage at this stage)
If we can move on some of the poor acquisitions and the management team can show that they have learned some lessons on signings then we could be very strong next season.
I think people inside the club and some supporters are realising that if you are not top 4 then you are very much mid-table or worse in this league and it hurts a little

Olusanya was awful today.
And yet the game changed for the worse for us when he went off of thep
I thought he did well with no support, Mandron was not interested today and Toyosi was left to do it all up front today. Once we lost his running power we offered nothing. I thought Kiltie and Tanser had extremely quiet games and my opinion is that all we offered went down the right side
Had we given Ayunga 10 minurtes alongside Olusanya I think it could have been a win for us, as we went with only Mandron up front for too long a period. At least Ayunga put in some effort and endeavour, something we didn't see from either Mandron, Tanser or Kiltie. You can't have that many players basically cruising

Good to see Ryan Strain back - but would have liked to see him team up with Connor McMenamin on the right as this combination provided a real attacking threat in the first part of the season.
Also a welcome return for James Bolton in the middle of the defence.
Strain certainly did
not enough help from Mac

Results this weekend will go a long way towards making this a possible sell-out. If we win and Killie drop points then we are back in the hunt for 4th and from then on in would only need to match Killie's results to set up a showdown, hopefully in Paisley as we have had them away twice this season already.
Killie have more chances of points than we do, with Hearts & Celtic the only two games after Saturday for us and Killie have Hearts, Rossco and St Johnstone
I fancy that if we make 4th, it would be on goal difference.

Fantastic player

At least we got proof that neither Souttar nor Porteous should get near a Scotland jersey

Why pick on the Guardian when so may others are citing the same evidence? Surely it is good that a news outlet has a healthy scepticism regarding fake or unscientific research?

Is this Motherwell that beat Rangers ?
Going into Europe with a squad based on this one would do more harm than good
so maybe a blessing in a very ugly disguise today

Those delivery drivers are getting lazier, couldn't they park up and walk to the door?

I used to live in McIntyre place and in the 2 years I was there there were 3 crashes at that bend near the top of the hill. Likewise the house on Stanely road opposite Balgonie woods where the owners would find a crashed car in the front garden on a regular basis. The guy who repaired the garden wall was on to a regular payday.

Kilmarnock have now opened their bottom tier in the away end with most folk I know still to buy their tickets myself included could be looking at 3000+
When was the last time we took over 3K fans to a League match ? ?
a quick review of notable away defeats should yield the answer?
Being serious, it will be a really long time ago. I think we were short of the 3000 mark at Motherwell for the big escape. WE didn't get near that number of tickets for the play-off v United. Maybe we had that number at Easter road for the championship escape season but I doubt it.
The current grounds with a physical capacity for 3000 away fans are very few. Maybe Aberdeen, up until a few years ago Tynecastle, Easter road but we never sold out the whole away end the last time we got it. If it has happened in the last 25 years then it could only have been at Motherwell or Killie and if it didn't happen then? Well my best guess is the 80s at one of the Glasgow piggeries or in Edinburgh.

I see Dundee are selling tickets to home fans since last week for our game at Dens, but no sign of away tickets on our website yet
