All in good time MCS, be assured we are constantly working on the plan and will arrange a meeting when the time is right. The SMiSA trust already have a "go cardless" account and other methods of collection will be in place when the time is right.

Good luck John, sorry the the club spear-shafted you and that your own fans turned on you for simply standing up for your rights

£6?????
They must be building a zoo in the club coz they're having a giraffe! This is designed to keep visitors out, i think.
I declined the offer to join because there is still no clear idea of member's rights or the terms of membership.
I'm even less impressed than before, they seem to be making it up as they go along.

i used to work in facilities management and can honestly say that most of the clients ended up paying more for the so-called outsourced services than they did in-house. External providers are good at providing a service but are even better at exploiting contracts and driving up costs

If it's a success, maybe you could re-open the topless hairdresser's as well
the town hasn't been the same since that went away.

Best deal we are ever likely to get, a known and trusted fan who actually knows how to run a business well
If this goes through I can stop spending so much on euromillions tickets

quite clear in the statement that GLS would be the chairman, and he is putting up the bulk of the upfront cash in the offer. Seems clear to me that he will have day to day stewardship

that sounds like a plot line for a new movie
A partially literate loner, who fills his days with trips to the library and trolling multiple internet forums, starts to invent characters in his life to make himself seem more normal. After a while he starts to blur the edges of reality and fantasy, almost believing himself the nonsense that he posts on the web. He then falls into a fantasy semi-existence where his paranoia starts to take over and he begins to perceive threats and insults from otherwise innocent postings from the real world. Things take a worrying turn when he starts to take the advice of a "lawyer" whom nobody ever sees and from whom no letters are ever sent, but the "lawyer" starts to control his life and it's not long before he embarks on a slaughter in his remote Lanarkshire village that he justifies on the basis of upon questionablle legal advice and his own inability to understand simple sentences. The "lawyer" tells him he needs to bore to death those who frequent a football website in order to obtain the appointment could save his life
It seems like a winner to me.

true
they are meant to be bridge between the club and the fans, not a decision making body-but it seems thay are not really making ALL the decisions
Reading the minutes, they seem to have debated several options but have been guided by the club into a fairly narrow channel regarding the membership model. I would echo HSS' unanswered question, will the FC participants be paying the same subs If they are then that is great, but will they be selecting themselves at the head of the queue for what wil be an (initially) oversubscribed application?
I was largely in favour, but am beginning to think I would see a better return on my money by spending it at corpie or giving more to SMISA than standing in a half-empty sports bar with a bunch of strangers
Also in the minutes is an indication of the projected initial cash injection, Caesars palace it ain't gonna be! I'd like to think it will be grown and invested in over time. I think I will also ask how the subs & takings will be spent, will they be ring-fenced until the initial outlay is recouped by SMFC? After that, who decides where the profits go-the FC or the SMFC?

fair enough, i was responding to HSS' comment
the rest of my post stands though,it needs to be more transparent as i sense this is a club initiative that uses the FC as a delivery vehicle
