No all I'm "implying" is that as he's a St. Mirren employee he will be unable to give his opinion publicly whether he supports it or not .This forum is all about opinions and this is merely my opinion and by no means a fact

Problem for Tony at the moment is that he most likely supports our bid but since he is an employee of the club and the current BOD he will not be able to support it publicly

The big difference being Sutton is 5 years younger and still a few years of his career left, I don't think rae will make the same mistake that murray did and play a big man as a lone striker , need a younger striker to play off him

Lappin would be the ideal player to bring in to get some quality deliveries In for big Sutton

Simon lappin for me would be a good option at LM , still only 33 ( same age as teale was when he signed ) could get one or two seasons out of him and delivers a great cross !

I believe around 15% of the total are paying £25 pm ( one of the SMISA board tweeted this 2 days ago ) So your correct in monetary terms we are actually much further ahead and have more than enough to service the loan if you also take into account the 20 paying £2500 ... although the current BOD have asked to see 1000 individual sign ups to show the long term viability and SMISA also would like this so we have a "comfort blanket" to allow for such things as cancellations etc so I think it's important we keep that target in mind

True but also gets the bid a little more exposure.. popular ex player getting involved certainly won't do our bid any harm also retweeting it to his followers won't do any harm either ...Ricky has also grown a successful business so hopefully he may have something to contribute to the club going forward ....

Obviously everybody entitled to their own opinion and totally respect yours but I think not to join up because Tony may get an additional role on the board is a tad petty , that's not been confirmed either all Gordon said at the first meeting was that could be a possibility as he thinks Tony could offer a lot to the board

Gordon stated at one of the meetings that he would like to keep Ian Henderson and he will invite others on to the board who he feels are capable of helping him take the club forward , I would imagine that would be another two along with the fans representative .. maybe he has an idea of who he would like on his board but doesn't want to say until the deal goes through or maybe those people don't want to be named ...

I think it's safe to say this a completely unfounded rumour designed to harm the SMISA bid and highly unlikely to be true , it would very much not be in Gordon's interests to cause division in the SMISA members & fans by appointing mcgeeoch to the board given the dramas of a few years ago

1000 is what the current board want to see from SMISA before they will do the deal , also 1000 would give us a big comfort blanket in regards to members cancelling so it's sensible to aim for that but financially 700 would be comfortably enough to pay off the loan. I believe we will get to 1k or very close to it by the deadline .. There was an initial surge after launch and i believe their will be another surge when it gets close to the deadline

Very interesting reading , obviously the guy has a bit of sour grapes but basically confirming what we all knew that there's a BOD desperate to get out which is only bringing the club down , much needed freshness required behind the scenes

And that one elected board member will be answerable to members and In Trusted with putting members views and ideas to the board. Gordon didn't state the exact make up of his board but he did say he would be open to having more than 1 fans rep on the board if they can contribute something productive to the board , I believe he would keep Ian Henderson on the board as commercial director and probably bring in a few of his own men that he trusts and that can add something to the club
