Just talking about doing the same thing with the Mrs last night - and again it was her idea. Our kid is due in March, so will bring him up for his first game at the start of next season.

Had a good day out yesterday. Result made leaving the house at 5.30 am worth it. Not a great performance but having watched Newcastle play well regularly and lose of late i'll vouch for the importance of getting points on the board no matter how you play. Shared the train with a number of hibees up for their semi at Tynecastle and loved walking through the carriages pushing my saints shirt clad chest out. Enjoyed a few pints, good company and the weather held up after a worrying forecast. The fun police decided to make the 19:00 a dry train from Edinburgh (nazis) but a good day none the less.

There was 2 'Southern' coaches from Barrhead parked up outside St James' yesterday at the Newcastle v Liverpool game. A friend in Paisley said it was Barrhead boys clubs' day out. Hope they enjoyed the day and given the result can they come again please?

I can vouch for LPM. He was on the same train as us back from Dumfries. Nice to put a face to a previously unknown forum poster.
Great day out, despite my sleep deprivation from coming off night shift at 6am and getting up to catch the train at 10.15. A comfortable win in a good old fashioned ground, enjoyed in the sunshine, followed by a few beers before and during the train journey.

Bus tickets purchased. We'll be there from the Toon.

Thankful for what he's done in his spell with saints but feel he's playing on at least a season too many. This is competitive, league football, not the 'Scottish Masters' on Sky unfortunately.
