  1. Amen. Danny Lennon has a long term plan, and some things won't work out. We all frustrated by him at some points but as long as he is St Mirren Manager he will try his best to bring success. I know that for sure
  2. That's paper talk Lex, he was trying to bring some ambition to our club because of the fact we had none previously, no ambition to go anywhere as fans and constantly harping back to the glory days. Are you ever finished whinging? Or posting constant drivel on here and P&B for that matter? All you do is make a fool of yourself by making knee-jerk decisions and being negative about EVERYTHING. Please just cheer up, we're actually on a decent run (which won't last because guess what, Danny Lennon isn't the next Mourinho). We're St Mirren, not Man Utd.
  3. Kello Naisy Mair Cheesy Kelly McGregor Newton McGowan McLean McGinn Thompson That team selection for me.
  4. Gus was a great manager in the first division and at keeping us up for the first maybe 3 years but after that things stayed the same and other clubs moved forward. Things became stale and he had done his piece, so it was time for a new man to come in, up steps Danny, he had a bit of a rough start but I also believe he has been a good manager for us, we have made improvements on a reduced budget, but there will come a point when things get stale and he has to move on, then we can compare them both. St Mirren will never have a Fantastic manager who has the right balance of keeping it tight and bringing entertainment and if they do he won't be around long. For St Mirren Gus and Danny have BOTH done a great job respectively
  5. The knickerwetters know best Shull. Don't you know Danny consults this forum for advice
  6. Wasn't aware of that. Can't say I think they'd be in the position they are now had he taken charge
  7. When did he get offered the Ross County gig? I'm not saying he didn't, i'm just asking when
  8. Are you Jeremiah in disguise you insignificant fool?
  9. Just like to give this a bump and mention Grainger's assist yesterday, hopefully he will gain some confidence and we will see the real Danny Grainger
  10. I am certain we will once Kelly inevitably dips in form and Danny steps in
  11. Oh aye, I forgot about how Kelly was absolutely rapid
  12. We'll see at the end of the season shall we? We will indeed see
  13. Oh is that right. I think you'll find that I quite clearly was. Hence why I said he has potential, but he lacks one thing, experience, which Grainger has. Grainger has been lacking in confidence THIS SEASON but he has been kicking about at SPL clubs for years whilst Kelly was still just a young, young lad
  14. Us = A defence containing Captain Pumpkin
  15. Kelly was suspect on Saturday at times. He has potential but Grainger is clearly a better player with more experience and attributes that make him stand out
  16. Dougie Imrie anyone? Eh naw, because he was fantastic for absolutely none of his previous clubs, he was average at lower SPL and 1st Division level
