Is no one else getting worried that the vaccines don't seem to be stopping transmission? UK and Israel up there with the most vaccinated places on earth, but cases increasing rather than dropping - English schools going back won't help matters.
Fingers crossed for a drop in cases before winter hits.
Also the drop off in antibodies for those vaccinated. The prediction earlier in the thread of boosters every 6 months isn't looking too far off.
Interesting study done in Israel regarding natural immunity is worth a look

I think the lad from Wolves will be a step up from Cammy. St Johnstone must have been willing to pay a decent percentage (if not all) of his wages. I get it.
Left winger from free agents and we'll be fine
Why spend £40-50k for people to stand up in a place where people already stand up?
Don't get me wrong - it's great PR when clubs do something like that for the fans, but there are many other issues and problems at the moment that need fixed before we consider something like that
A pulley would be cool as f**k though! Take the displays to another level
Off the top of my head the last time we discussed this with the club, a normal seat is £70 to replace. Safe standing works out at around £120 per seat. You'd need to replace every seat. As far as I know there's never been an injury in the Northbank section. It might look good from a PR POV, but not sure if it adds any true value since everyone stands already.
I'd rather see money put into the team, unless we're going to crowdfund it.
Pulley system for large displays would be a lot more useful than safe standing.
Used to be keen on it, but not sure it's worth the money - W7 is basically a standing area already
Pulley system for displays would be a better use of money, like a lot of European clubs have
Bit of an out-there shout - but one player we should be keeping tabs on is Scott Williamson, Cambuslang Rangers
21 goals in his last 10 games
Seen him play, really good player, only 20, with tremendous movement off the ball
Surely subletting is more costly than keeping the existing staff?
Punting them all at once was mental. Left with no club staff, no clarity, and a lot of pissed off folk around the community - a lot of the folk that have been punted are St Mirren supporters
We need a comprehensive & honest update from the club
Not sure how insurance of a football stadium works - but as a rule of thumb, general wear and tear is excluded. Do agree that the club should be checking things like that regularly to reduce risk of liability claims
Anti-Kibble witch hunt is getting a bit boring
If they're looking to save the club money I don't have an issue
Stewards are only there because we have to have them, our home crowd perfectly capable of self policing
We should be running the club at the lowest cost possible
Long term should hopefully make a difference - more willing to cut them slack as performances on the park (so far) have been close to the level I'm hoping for
Perfectly valid question.
Going by their website, it seems like they see potential in the community aspect of the football club. Addressing social issues etc.
"Commercial expertise" seems to be the biggest thing they have to offer - like many have said - yet to see a real change but hopefully once crowds are allowed back in, we'll start to see some of their marketing come into play.
I will say that marketing of the club has got worse since they became involved, but not sure if that's a coincidence or because of the pandemic and skyview turmoil.
Why would Kibble risk their (many) decades of good reputation to f**k over St Mirren?
160 year old charity
144 year old football club
Yet to see any evidence of an anti-St Mirren conspiracy from Kibble
Surely in their best interests to make the relationship work
Yeah I get you.
For me, all games should have a max limit of £20 unless it's a premium seat or includes access to a bar/hospitality etc
Not sure that £25 represents good value for money
In fairness it does add up over the season
Going to 20 away games at £25 a pop is £500, at £15 per ticket, would only add up to £300
£200 difference over a season isn't much for some, but you'd definitely notice it if you're living paycheck to paycheck
