I questioned the ambition of our BOD and this firmly proves there is none. Surely TC was part of DLs management team and equally as responsible? Surely a successful team high in the league and still in competitions after January is a better selling prospect than another similar season? Lack of ambition of the Board to stay or go it reeks of apathy. And its the fans paying the price. Time to fall on your sword SG once you pull it put Dannys back.

Well now the speculation is over and Mr Lennon has left the building who do you think should remain on the playing side out of the current players? I would like to see permanent contracts only no disrespect to Newton or his team mate Dummett but I would like to see 100% saints players. DLs best business IMO was the signings of Wylde and McGinnn, pushed us over the line at the end and pitched in with some top performances and effort. Not sure about Goodwin, great guy etc but as Ricky Gillies said no sympathy. We need our captain on the park playing not suspended. Would love to see Kelly and Naismith stay, both have came on to show they can be part of our future (Wilson and Clarke anyone?).... Whoever stays or joins I hope to see us improve on the legacy that DL has left and hopefully with a board that matches the fans ambitions......a top six place? Why are we not aiming top 3?? That's where we used to be fighting, not bottom 3.

There is a lot of speculation but the ambitions of the board will be the only problem.....cant remember the last time we installed a manager which got people excited...just hope its someone with experience and able to nurture our young talent and be able to man manage the older boys who appear to have been back stabbing of late

I seriously hope this is just press speculation...........I wouldnt want that we diddy ferguson anywhere near my club or anyone of his former club. I would without hesitation stop supporting my team after 32 years of highs and lows this would be a new level of low. I would rather follow Mo*t*n than support a club that he was running.

I would just like to wish Danny all the best in his future.........and if Barry Ferguson takes over then I will be after 32 years following him out of St Mirren Park. Sad to see yet another manager be given his books at our club but it would be even worse to appoint that wee diddy let alone have his name associated with our club.
