In hindsight Lewis Guy was not that bad a player at this level, 5 goals from about 20 starts was not the worst return we have had from a striker.

I dont think any saints fans have a problem with our young players looking around when their contracts are up to see where there future lies, we all want them to have good careers. Id have only had a problem with McLean if he came back to us and only was prepared to sign a one year deal but he hasnt, he's signed a deal that is good for him and good for us, if he has another good season then he might well go either at xmas or next summer for a decent chunk of money, or we get two years out of him before he moves on and will have done us a great turn for 5 years before leaving.
That's how it should work for all young players.
You could see Kenny getting frustrated last year any time a sub came on, he was the guy that had to move to accommodate him due to being able to play anywhere in midfield from holding to the no.10 position, one game he got moved about 4 times in a single match. With no McGowan kenny is going to the main man who we can build the team around, I think he will thrive in that role.

Excellent news, hopefully he can push on, keep up the consistency that he started to show through the end of the season and we can build the team around him.

If we had more loan signings like the cup winning season and less loan signings like last season everyone would be happy, last years loans were honking and no doubt skew peoples views of the loan system somewhat.

Wages to turnover of 70% is terrible for most businesses, football is not most businesses though, what other operating costs do a club like ours have? Not a huge amount which is why it is sustainable.

We started playing in a more exciting manner when TC came to the club, the first season under Danny we played shitefest football.

The Jardel thing was done by editing his wiki page as a bit of mischief - but it was an open post on here first - saying that the israeli guy we trialed looked like Jardel, im passing on what i was told, he's reliable so i'm hopeful that its true. Madness! Sums up Sevco. Darren would probably sign for less than £2 a week and they are contemplating 3x that. Will they ever learn? I guess we should cut them slack as they are a very young club learning there way in the game.
