Still think we need a new national anthem , something rousing like the Irish one , if olny we could get something as memorable as the French Anthem - that wid be guid. Wild Mountainside - Sung by Eddi Reader and written by the guy out of 'The Trash Can Sinatras' - Brilliant. 2. Waterfront - Simple Minds - My Youth seems like yesterday ! 3. Into the Valley - The Skids 4. Oblivious - Aztec Camera 5. Sing - Travis. Could do plenty more there is plenty of good stuff from scottish groups, favourites like 'Mary's Prayer' - Danny Wilson , April Skies - Jesus & Mary Chain , young at heart - the bluebells ... the list goes on !!
