saintdailly
With saxophone by Bob Holness. 189326 Ahh, the old "bob Holness played sax on Baker Street" line, one of my favourite nonsense hoaxes, one of my mates started a campaign on some website to say Audley Harrison was going out with Sol Campbell. Total pish, but made me laugh!!

Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Walk the last mile........... James Grant 189399 Top song from a great album. The great lost band of Scottish contemporary popular music. A lot of bands that made it big were far inferior to Love and Money but James and the boys just never got da breaks. There ain't no justice. Top five L&M songs:- 1. Walk The Last Mile 2. Hallelujah Man 3. Looking For Angeline 4. Wanderlust 5. Candybar Express
Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
And here's five more. 1. Strange Kind of Love 2. Jocelyn Square 3. River of People 4. You're Beautiful 5. Love and Money Say yeah! Say thanks that songs like this exist!

saintdailly
kudos to the belle & seb fan. anyone know of boards of canada?? thought it was a bit obscure but a genuinely brilliant scottish band as is idlewild, mogwai, the vaselines, the cocteau twins, altered images, frankie miller, bmx bandits, teenage fanclub, more recently i would recommend a wee band fae berwick called eastern lane, they have a track called " feed my addiction" nice slice of indie-rock which you can download off the net. Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
mogwai, the cocteau twins, frankie miller, teenage fanclub 190214 On top of these very wonderful acts I'd like to add:- The Blue Nile, The Waterboys, The Average White Band, Danny Wilson, Geneva, Love and Money and The Jesus and Mary Chain to name but several. Rothesay Saint
So many people have recommended Boards of Canada, that I really need to buy an album. How anyone can have Mogwai and the Blue Nile in a list with the brilliance of Geneva and Teenage Fanclub confuses me though.
Colin M
kudos to the belle & seb fan.anyone know of boards of canada?? thought it was a bit obscure but a genuinely brilliant scottish band 190214 Boards of Canada are fantastic, maybe not to everybody's taste but they make brilliant electronic music. Music Has The Rights To Children is their best record. Their remixes of Beck and cLOUDDEAD are also worth looking for. New album "The Campfire Headphase" out on October 17th!
