Bud the Baker
Some People Are Crazy - John Martyn From his Phil Collins era - never really liked those albums. Bought Glorious Fool which I only listened to once. A mistake by JM as I feel he went chasing commercial success and ended up producing a series of Jazz-Lite records (yes I'm stuck in a timewarp) from which he never really recovered. Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
As is One World, Bless the Weather, Sunday's Child and, of course, Solid Air and anyone who says Grace and Danger isn't as good as these masterpieces needs a toothpick up the Japs eye. Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Goodbye yellow brick road. Elton John. After all those years, it's still majik. Correct. A great album and along with Tumbleweed Connection, Madman Across the Water & the glorious Captain Fantastic prove that he was once mighty and is now just chugging along in neutral.
