Got all the Roxy albums and can understand you writing that. But I don't agree. Take away the two singles from Avlon and you don't have a pop album. You have a sophisticated mature album played by musicians at the top of their game. Off key bass notes fitting in perfectly. Changes within the structure of the songs going in opposite directions, also mixed in are lots of instruments in the back ground. For me it's Brian Ferry's greatest achievement as a musician.
