Number 21 in the charts is a dead giveaway!

Number 33, had the great pleasure of speaking to most of the people who played on "I love the sound of breaking glass" when they played the now burnt out O2 in glasgow as part of Graham Parker & the Rumour

Bob Andrews-a real gentleman and arguable musical genius who produced the LAs, backed Jona Lewie and Elvis Costello (along with the rest of the Rumour he arranged and played on watching the detectives) and many others.  He sampled some pretty ropey guitar to form the intro & riffs for "there she goes".  He wasn't credited for Jona Lewie's hits but told me he gets a healthy wee cheque every year for the radio plays.

Brinsley Schwartz was lovely, my favourite guitarist whose girlfriend thanked me for the drunken gushing as he often feels he is not appreciated

Andrew Bodnar and Steve Goulding were rated amongst other musicians as the best rhythm section around in the 70s.  I saw Sting steam right through Elvis Costello's comment on Steve's drumming on watching the detectives as Sting didn't like Elvis' notion that the Rumour were the only white band that really "got" the reggae code
