Surely he has made enough cash singing about our rights over the past 4 decades?!

The music of this generation is every bit as good as the 60s & 70s.

Bud the Baker
No mention of Chuck Berry, James Brown, Motown or Michael Jackson (altho' Quincy Jones got a namecheck). I'd also throw in Gil Scott-Heron even tho' his dad played for Celtic. Oh Yeah. I also meant to include Nile Rogers/Bernard Edwards of Chic. Colin M
60s: The Beatles, Brian Wilson/Beach Boys, James Brown, Velvet Underground, Phil Spector 197335 No mention of Chuck Berry, James Brown, Motown or Michael Jackson (altho' Quincy Jones got a namecheck). I'd also throw in Gil Scott-Heron even tho' his dad played for Celtic.Oh Yeah. Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Oh Yeah. I also meant to include Nile Rogers/Bernard Edwards of Chic. 199889 Fúckin' top notch shout. They were a great band that provided soul, funk and shit-hot guitaring all rolled in to one. They were highly influential in dance music and its development. Along with Giorgio Moroder & Kraftwerk they're top of that particular tree. Great track all 12inches of Bernard Edwards thumping bass lines and Nile Rogers funky rhythm guitar. Rogers also was called in to produce a lot of top notch albums one of which was the excellent classic "Listen Like Thieves" by Inexs.
