Obviously Andrew Neil had more political influence than (insert the name of a famous ex-John Neilsonian if you can think of one).

Crawford Fairbrother (high jumper) Kenneth McKellar (tenor) and of course Alex McLeish to name but three Neilsonians not to mention Sky Sports golf link man David Livingstone.

Ex Neilsonian (asked to leave) :D

Is that the same Alex McLeish who took the tainted silver pieces to work for the benefit of our bigoted, sectarian DOB neighbours ? The same Alex McLeish who was so pish in that job that he was handed his jotters ? The same Alex McLeish who has a P45 burning a hole in his trouser pocket ?

Right enough, he's done well for a Neilsonian. You must all be very proud of him.

Which is you favourite old school ? The old JNI currently a block of flats ? Or the old JNHS currently a pile of rubble in a landfill site ?

Not to mention the winner of the amateur gold medal at the British Open and Walker Cup golfer D Barclay Howard who also incidentally led the Open Championship with G Norman and T Watson and the school song "Strive in the years that are passing" . Similarly talented Grammarians and anthem?

is that short for spearmint?

c'mon bongo, you can insult the well educated former pupils of the Paisley Grammar School and William B Barbour Academy in a more original manner.

At €7.50 an hour on dial up with a well worn Greek keyboard, that was a major achievement.....................
