chingford
I've just consumed a 'special bottle' from a pal that works in a brewers down here. Not for sale in UK... and I think I understand why, now... Brewed by Anheuser-Busch in St Louis, then imported. It has a big fancy B on the label with an E in a circle above it (like squared or cubed). The label states it has a high caffeine content (plus ginseng, guarana extract and a fruit flavour! ) 5% ALCOHOL BY VOLUME. But it tastes like some kinda ginger - Aqua Libra, mibbe. Pish, certainly. If it hadn't been a freebie I might have been more critical and scathing...
MarkL
Has anyone seen the advert or even tried the new Kronenburg with a twist of lemon? Might be quite nice Edited April 26, 2006 by MarkL
Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
Tried it and it's quite refreshing. I'm not a mjor fan of the general Kronenburg taste but if you like it then you'll like the lemon one. Especially with, ahem, "summer" coming up.
