Herbie
1. House 2. Life on Mars 3. Dr Who 4. Scrubs 5. Green Wing At last, someone mentions the funniest programme to hit our screens for years. Well done that man! Green Wing, Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You are the only programmes that I ever make a point of watching.... although I do quite like that one with Shoestring and Sheila out of Brookside in it. Bill Lees
The very best programme on the TeeVee right now, bar none - is Dragons' Den. Five utter bastards with more money than Roman Abramovic sit and watch a series of often hopeless individuals pitch business ideas to them which are mostly bonkers, but the odd one of which is a good idea. When the good idea comes up, the bastards shamelessly try to steal it for peanuts - "I'll give you the £50,000 you need, but I want 60% of your company and your first-born child". Charlie Brooker thinks it should be more appropriately called "Bastard's Hole". One of the Dragons is a woman called Deborah Meaden, who clearly hasn't smiled since the Belgrano went down. Brilliant. Edit : Woops, just realised I've wittered on about this before - in December. No matter. It's still better than most of the dross on the Telly.
