Later with Jools, circa 1992/3 when it still just a wee add on to the Newsnight Late Review programme on Friday nights...

Aimee Mann doing 'I Should Have Known' and '4th of July' with Steven 'TinTin' Duffy on guitar, and the bass player and drummer from Squeeze. Classic tunes from her first album 'Whatever' which I promptly ordered from Stereo One the next day...

Loved the wummin to bits ever since, hope she got her toe back from The Big Lebowski ???:D

Does anyone else think he's a smug git and the worst part of Later. Hate his "matey" style interviews which rarely offer any insight about the music or musicians, don't generally like his duets with guests on the show and hate what I've heard of his CD's.

My fave 5 JH shows -

JH is bound and gagged.

JH is locked in a dark cupboard.

Lost

JH is disappeared by a magician.

Lost in Space

Worked a couple of shows a few years ago and thought he was ok, got the impression he was quite uncomfortable with the interviewer role and would rarther just intro the show and play a bit... :D
