Ross County, ICT, Pars, Falkirk, Dundee Utd and Partick all in that league, looks hellish. Glad we got out of this one! Into an even bigger one. Never really hit it off at Aberdeen last season though. Looks like we flagged up his availability ! Aberdeen and Hearts in for him now which effectively ends our aspirations ! I guess if they offer more cash then maybe, but Stewart and BCFC other consideration has got to be game time, how much would he get at either of those, compared to us? Where is he most likely to develop and shine? And of course contacts.... the old boy network usually decides. Is Stubbzo in their good books? Hmm not always in the case of loanees. i would guess Stubbzo, if he is lucky would get a couple of everton lads on 'development loans' that meaning everton still pay their wages, we cover their digs and expenses and have to play as long as they are fit! Everton would decide if they were fit to play. if a club takes a 'full loan' then they cover the wages, and call most of the shots, bit like Liam Smith last year. And thats perhaps why Hearts want him to go to the championship where Ayr or whoever covers most of his wages?

W6Saint
Looks like we flagged up his availability ! Aberdeen and Hearts in for him now which effectively ends our aspirations !This is not the 1990’s. If a player is available, an agent can have an email sent to every Premier League side in Scotland and all English League 1 clubs in England in a matter of an hour. Added into this that he spent last season on loan at Aberdeen, how can we exclusively flag up the availability of a player to a team, when that player has just returned from being on loan at said team? Does it not seem unrealistic to suggest that they had not had a discussion previously about the player’s plans for this year and were indeed fully aware of his availability all along? Be surprised if Aberdeen a) Didn't know about his availability and b) Would be desperate to have him back, given his not overly impressive spell there last season. No threat of pace means teams defend 10 yards further up the pitch and make it difficult for our midfield to create any space. Humphrey is no longer on trial . Stubbs has not offered a deal !
