It seems they were part of the posse of players sweeper had predicted we were announcing.

You never learn do you? It ain't over until the fat lady sings or the players' contracts are signed.

Neither side can or ought to make an announcement until it is properly done and dusted.

Thought that would be obvious for a contract expert like yourself though?????   :turtle

You think we are the only ones who do due diligence?

I quote, "The McDiarmid Park boss wanted to sign him but was forced to pull the plug at the last minute because of finances."

So the Fakes cannot afford him but we can . . . not sure that this is true... :2cool

Got to be a good bet, he's at least got a Wiki page.

Judging by it, not played many games. One would think not hard to deal with financially considering he's a free agent. Could he be another Heaton.

Interesting to see how this plays out.

Anyone able to justify why we weren't in for Shankland? Jeez at zero fee he would have been just what we needed up front. Surely he would have fancied guaranteed game time in the Prem versus losing out on promotion at Utd?

Rumoured to be on a pretty high wage at Utd. Not worth the gamble imo.

We wouldn't have been paying the rumoured signing on fee and wages.

Edited because just seen Munoz's reply.

You seem convinced Dundee United will miss out on promotion?

St Johnstone have the boy Tanser at left back who is their first choice, maybe they were only willing to pay him as a back up option. Or due to Liam Gordon getting an injury maybe the money they had aside for a left back needs to go on a centre half now.

Loads of ways we could get him in but they couldn’t

I’m sure with all your inside info you would have known that though [emoji90]
