Kendo
He is a left back, he likes to get forward when he can, has a good delivery from the left and he can take set pieces too. He is a good solid SPL type player, not spectacular but doesn't do much wrong and he is a decent defender as well. He would be a good signing for any SPL club I'd reckon (apart from either of the filth) He has splay feet too You have conviced me, lets get him signed up.......................are you his agent

I mean as being our out'n'out player and not a loanee. I would get him signed ASAP then. Regarding the bit in bold, That is how I would of described VZ the first time we had him. Wasn't amazing, but didn't do much wrong, so he was solid. If could get the likes of Paterson and Buchanan that would be the left back position totally sorted. lock them down to 20 year contracts each so we can spend time looking for other positions instead of it always being a left back we need. Dan Is The Man
Does anybody know Brian Easton's situation? is he kicking a ball for Burnley? Injured? Possible loan move? Would be a good deal for both clubs. Edited June 8, 2011 by Dan Is The Man

Iggy Poop
Surely Thommohawk should be on the case trying to get McDonald and Easton to come to the club.... Maybe compose a song for them. Get that guitar out Stevie.

Mainstand Sweary Mob
So next up we need a left back, a centre back, a creative midfielder and maybe even another striker (maybe a big one as Hasselbaink, McGowan and McQuade are not the tallest of folk). So, are we speaking to anyone about these positions?
santo
Smith in for Gallacher. Thompson in for Higdon. Hasselbaink in for Dargo. McGowan in for McGowan. ? in for Travener? ? in for Potter? I do hope we have something lined up...
saint_1706
id just like to point out i stayed at an expensive hotel two years ago for a night and steven thompson was there. i sat in the bar for a drink and he was already in the bar with friends and family drinking. i then went and had my dinner and came back about 2 hours later and he was still in the bar drinking. he then stayed drinking in the bar with those same people for what must have been in excess of a further 2 hours. is this the type of player we want at our club??? Sounds like he can batter a drink or two nae bother....so he's exactly the player we are looking for. I don't want any of those airy fairy types that has one glass of red wine or a Bacardi breezer. Drinking 20 pints is what real men do.

So yes , a guy who spends plenty of time with his friends and family is the type of person we want at the club !

santo
How many more signings can we expect before the new season? Talk of Hughes and Dorman and Carey and suchlike. I just can´t see it myself. We couldn´t even hold on to Higdon and Gallacher and Travener!!!
