Not sure that we need an attacking midfielder, right enough, but he does (did?) score goals. ETA: on reflection, this would be a pointless waste of money, most likely. We've got enough in the way of creative midfielders in McGinn, McGowan, and McLean. I'm just wanting to throw a name in that no-one else has, because I'm a bit sad, really.... A fit Andy Driver would be the best winger in the SPL, any Hearts fan would testify to that. Can beat a man, blistering pace and at a good age. He was on the verge of a Scotland call-up just before he left for America, that only fell through because of the eligibility rules.Jose Goncalves and Kenny Miller were both fantastic SPL players, FWIW.
