sm74
He wants 4k a week and we can't pay that.
JJ McG
Scottish or English Championship, JJ? English Drew and seemingly he is after 4k a week.
BuddieinEK
English Drew and seemingly he is after 4k a week. I like him as a player and see so much potential if used properly... but at our level, he's not a 4k player.
Drew
That'll be him away then. Fair enough. As BinEK says, he isn't worth £4K a week, even if he had that kind of money.
davidg
I'd reckon he's more interested in the championship rather than championship clubs interested in him. He was gagging to move to that level in January but no takers. Good player when played through the middle but I think he'd struggle at that level.
athens-saint
16k a month LOL. This is a joke, right?
slapsalmon
The problem is though, in football terms 4k a week isn't actually that big a wage while most of us on here who burst our arse all week can only dream of a wage like that. The world is broken.
saint in exile
He'll pick up a gig at Doncaster or some club like that and get 4K a week easy.
foxbar_bud
Good luck to him then if he is looking for that amount of cash. Will always be remembered for 'that' goal. Hasnt hit the hights consistantly this season. Like DavidG says i think he would struggle in the championship.
BaldyOzBud
His form like most players at our level is up and down, but his performances for us last season, particularly in the semi final, and his goal in the final means that I will always consider him to be one of the Legends of the glorious 2013 league cup triumph. All the best Connor, and if you can earn that money in the championship then well done.
Barney63
He'd probably do better with better players around him. Could he step up and not sink? I think so. Look at Dummet, currently playing in the EPL. Or First Division, as it should properly be called.
Ayrshire Saints
Absolutely, it would be a real loss if we lost him Make sure we keep McAusland, and give him his chance Bumped from the top of the thread ..................how times change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JJ McG
Rotherham utd after Naismith and mcginn McGinn will be going to a far bigger club than Rotherham.
billyg
Rotherham utd after Naismith and mcginn Unlikely I would have thought , if they were out of contract and under 21 it would cost them 350k for each , but as they're on long contracts then you're looking at £1m the pair , at least !
elvis
Just saying it was in the Herald there after Chris Boyd as well seemingly they have a shot at getting into the championship .
JM1
Is McGinn out of contract next summer? The club may decide to cash in this summer rather than lose him for a much lower development fee.
Luther G. Presley
f**king Rotherham, is that really a step up for someone playing for St Mirren, honestly is this how far Scottish football has fallen?
Griff
Its all about how well Rotherham are doing , apparently the chairman. Has put 30 million quid into club over the last 5 years

southside saint
Rotherham have a brand spanking new belter of a stadium and have home crowds of 8000 plus each week. Have a look at the commercial page-light years ahead of us. They even help out with finding local accomodation if you are attending an event-that's how to treat your customers! It's far from a step down in terms of money, stadium and facilities. Can't comment on the playing standard but if a £1m Celtic striker struggled for a game with the league leaders, it can't be that bad. Saying that, apparently Gary Harkins is a god with Oldham fans
GlenburnSaint
Its all about how well Rotherham are doing , apparently the chairman.
