I don't know how accurate it is but transfermarkt says our average last season was 7500 and this season 6800, while this looks like it is down it only covers 2 games this season and 16 last. It doesn't give by game breakdown so difficult to take anything from the numbers as it is summer holiday season and numbers may have been the same last season before increasing as folk arrive back.

footballwebpages gives a by game breakdown and numbers look  broadly similar last season to this

The league cup group games can't be used as there's no comparison from last season.

This season for the 3 games since gives us an average of 6,120

Last season we'd hit an average of 6,852 for 4 games.

So that's a drop of 732, all down to the poor attendance for the Hearts game. ( close on a 3000 drop)

I'd imagine after our next home game against Dundee that will be significantly reduced.

I just pasted what was on their site but I was only considering the first 2 league games this season v the first 2 from last 

24/25 6271+6940 = 13211  v 25/26 6735 + 6886 = 13621 so if anything slightly ahead this season and why I said broadly similar

Well he's not getting any wages at the moment and there doesn't seem to be a rush for his signature.  He'll be 39 before the season ends.  Was chatting to my wife's old boss who's a big Hibbee and he reckoned the story was a lot of you know what, put out by his agent to let people know he's not retired.
