Bud the Baker
I'll be staying up to listen to it on TMS - already popped the beer in the fridge. Who could resist a contest between the No.4 and 5 (out of 8) ranked nations in the world, in SPL terms it's the equivalent of Kilmarnock vs Dundee Utd.! Anyway c'mon the convicts! I was at the Gabba in 2002. Great day out with a few beers and calamari in the sun. Girl I was with had no clue what was going on. She was most initerested in the giant duck frequently walking across the big screen as England collapsed. If you think the Tartan Army are alcoholics the Barmy Army were insane. 30 degrees plus, wrecked and burning up in the sun. Not sure my Scotland strip was appreciated

cambo1877
I Watched up till the end of the 2nd session. Camera zoomed in on Robbie Fowler at one point. And who was sitting 2 seats down from him? Nonother than our very own Steven McGarry!!!
St. Sid
all the big build up and first one out for a duck. The build up was almost world cup level boombassity. Nearly burst a bollock when it went 0/1. It was like watching Geoff Boycott slip a gorgeous Thai hookers knickers down just to find a big boaby. Qarsaan
An advantage of being in Vietnam (7 hours ahead of UK in winter) is you can follow daytime sports from UK and Australia at a fairly reasonable hour. It's 8am here when the first ball is bowled in Brisbane. I don't get to follow US sports because of the timing, but have no interest in that anyway. Enjoying following this season's Ashes. St. Sid
Wee Ponting appears to have lost the plot a bit. Great he's still in there though as his hatred of engerland is written all over his cheeky wee geggy.

rabuddies
It's funny but despite wanting Engerland to lose at every other sport I have a soft spot for the cricket team - perhaps because a number of Scots have played for them, indeed captained them. I also had a Cockney Granny so that might influence me a bit. Strange, but there you go?
St. Sid
Heard the barmy army singing the national anthem last night - but with the line: "Long to reign over YOU!" Had a wee giggle at that.
