div
Not everyone who wants to attend this evenings first public meeting can do so. With that in mind I will be running a live "tweetcast" from the event which will allow any buddies, located anywhere around the world, to find out all the details of what is presented, asked and answered at the event, right as it happens. Using Twiter (you can follow @10000hourslive) I will constantly stream updates from the meeting straight to a new LIVE page on the 10000Hours site. All you need to do is sit back and watch as the information feeds in, no need to manually refresh the page. The URL to bookmark and visit anytime from around 1845 this evening is; http://www.10000hours.org/live You can now download copies of the presentation that will be shown on the night at the above site. A full copy of the transcript and the presentation document will be published on the TTH site for anyone to read anytime afterwards. See you all tonight, either in person or online ! div
You can now download the presentation for tonights meeting, although in truth some of the slides won't mean much until the meeting starts ! Get the presentation in either Powerpoint or Adobe Acrobat format on the tweetcast page at http://www.10000hours.org/live

div
Thanks guys, it was very difficult on three counts; 1) Twitter was playing up 2) The Wi-Fi connection in the corporate suite is pants 3) Balfy kept buying me beer so my concentration began to wander a bit Never mind, 111 tweets, hopefull the full transcript means something to someone. Now at http://www.10000hours.org/live Yeah, thanks for the tweets, much appreciated. I'm a bit annoyed that everyone who's against the proposal didn't really show up and voice their concerns so we can see how the dealt with the questions, but it was interesting getting the answers to some questions! Maybe get more of that next Thursday. Bit more notice, plus SG attending, might swell the numbers and there might be more football chat then. Now at http://www.10000hours.org/live I'd like to add my thanks as well. Excellent summary! What was the mood of the meeting like? I assume that the CIC are quite confident of success? Were the audience convinced by the presentation though?
steve_the_saint
Aye certainly was! RA spoke for nearly 2 hours and I thought he was very impressive. He didn't seem flustered on anything, seemed transparent about everything and was very trustworthy about everything from his motives to why he thinks itl work. Dirty Sanchez
How many were at last nights meeting? From my count, the seating was laid out in approximately a 15 x 11 pattern, with the equivalent of about three empty rows, so something like 130 heads were there.
