Poor R*ngers Theads Merged.....

Just watched highlights of that Aberdeen game. It would put you off football watching cunts likes Morelos and McGregor staining the game.

Appealing the Morelos' yellow for diving is nothing more than a troll by the cunts, who will be well aware that he could easily have been booked for diving about four times during the game, including one in the slapstick category.

That said.

It doesn't make it any less true.

See they have managed to lose another 11million this year and require another 10 million from shareholders to see out the season. Unbelievable. The shareholders must be mental to keep posting money into this hole.

Yup.

if this isn’t financial cheating and cheating other clubs on a huge scale then what is?losing £11m again this year and already forecasting a shortfall of a further £10m!  Madness.  Where is financial sustainability?  How can legitimate clubs compete with that?

they want Club 1872 fools to buy more shares (last traded at 8.50p) for 18p each, in order to help sevco negotiate this rough patch.... a rough patch to which the SFA has now turned a blind eye for... 11 years, now?  Scottish fitba is corrupt.

If any club lose money are they cheating?

Haven't St Mirren lost money in previous years?

I would imagine it's the nature of the beat that football clubs lose money.

Bollox. This isn't about making a smallish loss due to unfortunate circumstances.  It's as clear a case of financial doping as you will see.

FFS, King even states that they are deliberately throwing money at the club to speed up closing the gap with Celtic.

Dundee Utd are doing this too.

It needs stopped. Now.

Well...  ljb...    last time I spouted similar pish, Rangers did indeed go bust.

This is a new, similarly bigoted, financially berserk club that has not posted a profit since its inception.  There are supposed to be rules about financial fair play.  They are not being applied to the new club.

St Mirren has been run in a responsible manner for years now.  Last time it overspent was down to trying to compete with the club that died by its sustained cheating.  Yes... Rangers.

losing money constantly and spending way over your budget is, as a fact of life, bound to end in disaster.  And that IS cheating as it is unsustainable and encourages other clubs to bust the bank.

it is not a fair and moral sport.

and sevco will go down the same wormhole for the same reasons.  You can’t defy financial gravity.

You said Scottish football is corrupt, yet you support this by attending games.

I don’t. I have stopped my interest in The “national” team and only go to see St Mirren - and never against corrupt teams.

As I said, most footballs clubs have not managed to break even, are they all "corrupt"?

Most football clubs do break even and certainly none other than sevco (or currently dufc) are running every year “losing” millions.

End in disaster? What's the percentage of clubs that go to the wall?

As only the corrupt and/or financially crippled clubs go to that wall, eg Rangers, third Lanark, Gretna, Airdrieonians... etc I think this demonstrates that actually “most clubs” DO break even most years.

I would speculate Rangers will outlast you and most of the forum.

Rangers IS deid,   QED

7 in this article don't.

Quite a few others are in the black due to handouts.

Precarious to say the least.

Oh, you attended the Killie match , shame on you.

Clubs financial positions vacillate.  But the new club just hasn’t been in the black since inception, overspending even when it was first admitted to the bottom division and slowly slithered up the leagues.

From your link, there is confirmation that  the only club depending on handouts that are not soft and not interest free is sevco.  Sevco also has ongoing litigation wrt to its strips.  Court cases that will cost a lot and look likely to bring more financial punishments.

Oh, and the just released financial report acknowledges that transfer fees of £10 million are already committed and must be paid.  all before looking at what needs to come in...over£300k was in the report for legal costs.

On what APPEARS to be a positive note accompanying the report, the chairman of the holding company for the football club, has promised to provide at least £5m to see sevco through and keep limping on till it wins the Euro championships whilst stopping 10 in a row.

However,  that chairman is a convicted criminal who was named by a South African judge as “a glib and shameless liar” and is only the 4th person in 50 years to be public ally reviled by the City of London for being untrustworthy and thus has been penalised by the financial authorities by being given ”the cold shoulder” from the financial world.  So.... promises... promises, eh?

it’s a bleak outlook for the blue-minded.

At least they formed their Successful Ticketus Operating Retail Model ( STORM) on the back of it ie Spend what you don't have, borrow on the  back of  what you don't have, and be All happy that a 7 year old team has a £14m debt when it basically sells out  every game...………….

Tick Tock

I believe the debt is more than 14m and they lose around that figure every year. Tick tock indeed. Hopefully nobody at Hampden bends over this time. Long live dave King 😂
