faraway saint
Oh, seen this and it brought back lots of memories. Used to go here every Friday night after the BB, spaghetti bolognese and chips. Bruno's, now an Indian seemingly?

Nothing special. @Eric Arthur Blair is the Indian restaurant guru on BAWA though. Would love to know his current top 3.

So all your visits to Paisley in that 33 years and you never noticed it wasn’t Bruno’s anymore 😂😎

I haven't tried a sit-in at the "award winning" Indian in Moss St and in fact the only sit-in I've had in the last couple of years was at The Phat Bhuna and it was perfunctory at best. Indian Scene has always been excellent although the portions are quite small, The Multan was always consistently good as was the Koh-I-Noor although sadly they no longer do a buffet. faraway saint
Ah, Listen records, could spend quite a bit of time just browsing and listening. No's 59 to 65 High Street, as it was back in 1975, the Bruce Arms on the corner of Storie Street and next door, Listen Records, Paisleys' favourite Record Shop of its day... I had a Saturday job in Arnotts working in electrical sales, teles, video’s washing machines etc. Used to buy a cd a lunchtime from Stereo 1 or the Record Factory and would be able to play them in the shop in the afternoon while watching the scores roll in via teletext. It worked well until I bought the Surfa Rosa / Come on Pilgrim Cd by Pixies and Nimrods Son got played out across the department…….

faraway saint
What a statement.......................... A bunch of religious people and that's Paisley sorted. Exactly what the people need. Conversion of Paisley town centre building will make High Street 'glorious again' https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/in-your-area/renfrewshire/conversion-paisley-town-centre-building-29467450?fbclid=IwAR1ppY241ZjEL_b_FrEnzcf7HSt6ZZIpY0PGq3aHsfBoo6fQzBW5GPUS1Fk
