County Square
Back to 1967 and a damp, cold and slushy day in "the Square" with a Western SMT Albion Lowlander taking up space, possibly on rail replacement work, outside the Head Post Office (now Weatherspoons) and Gilmour Street Station.

No photo description available.

No doubt even then the driver would be subjected to the whinging that the bus was cold, etc 🤣🤣

Anyways at least then the conditions wouldn't really cause chaos with the bus unlike nowadays where just about everything has a sensor and once they get affected by constant wet conditions the bus decides it's no playin anymore.

That's just an excuse for bad driving.

Just now, WeeBud said:

I was only ever in it pre-match when it was always full of Buds, never experienced it on a non-football day.

I wandered in a few times in the summer if I was thirsty on the way up the town.

Not my kind of vibe, and back in the day you could hardly see for the fecking cigarette smoke.
