He was the man who got a pool full of kids and adults safely out when the crane building the extensions to the paisley tech collapsed and fell through the roof of the pool. Sadly suffered the most horrendous PTSD and ended up taking his own life as a consequence, however it was before the days when it was recognised and would have been linked to the event as it might well be now Quote

Yip remember it well we called it Nellies, it wasn't really near the part of Feegie I was brought up so it was always a bit dodgy when I got sent round there, It was also a good pitstop to stock up on sweeties before heading down to the shows at the racecourse via the "Cowboy valley" (who remembers that?) It's just had a makeover I believe and has been turned into a snack bar type of place I've heard.. Quote
