faraway saint
Hope Ambrose plays in the cup, he's mince. Been all over the place since the start of the game. The point being is that now the tie is as good as over they will have only our game to focus on.
exiledfan
Celtic done over by classic Italian tactics. go 1 up sit back soaking up pressure then punish a team when they run out of steam.

Correct, Italian goes into tackle in last few seconds, rolls about, whistle goes, gets up, smiles and sticks his tongue out. Proud to be an Italian. Lex
Bad result for us. Had they still been in the tie they would have rested players for the QF, which is the weekend before the 2nd leg. As they are now out, the most important game of their season is now the Scottish Cup QF against us. Oh well, we can still beat them

We don't want players injured playing a wee quarter final.

Gordon Urquhart
The boy Forrest looked like a wee lost soul against that quality. Can't believe he was left on for 90 minutes. Agree, bad result for us but lets get right in about them again. Defense is their weakness so no sitting back hoping for a draw like we used to do. pozbaird
Don't think that result really alters much. Ahead of tonight's first leg, Lennon rested a good few of his first choice XI at Inverness, and they gubbed ICT. Lennon could rest Izaguerre and play Kayal, rest Hooper and play Stokes and/or Samaras. Forrest or Commons... no big deal. Come the quarter final, even at 0-3 down, Lennon will have to think about the return leg - he won't want to go there and get a pasting, so he'll need to juggle line ups between our game and the Turin return. I'd rather he played his first choice XI anyway. Guys like Watt and Co seem hungrier and more up for it anyway.
delpierro
what with the negativity. all celtic need to do is score 4 against juve and not concede. they win 3-4 on agg. simples!
