Wouldn't like to comment on it being an official bid; however the press releases about it being a competitive bid sutuation from 10000 hrs was surprise surprise misleading. I think the safest way to put it is that their is interest from the USA. I am only going on hearsay; however the bid has positive elements in relation to fan involvement and the wider community...not surprising as that's what the selling consortium are asking of all bidders. Any bidder will also see the significant revenue opportunities available from delivering support for these areas. So its not all bad news....probably make the court of king richard boak though.
