Popped along to IT department this morning, as good as useless. Seems they can't be arsed trying to fix things, a "throw-away" society is they're motto. Going to pop into local PC repair shop, see if they can confirm what the problem is before I make my next move. On the sleeping thing, read back a few of your posts.
