The movie of Red Nichols' life with Danny Kaye came out in 1959 when we won the cup. The version of When The Saints Go Marching In with Satchmo and Danny Kaye was the best I ever heard apart from North Bank Productions version of the same song in 1959. It stayed in the charts for thirty five weeks and got a Grammy that year. I was a boy soprano on that recording. And if you believe any of that old shit you better go and lay down.
