davidg
We'll get torn apart in the spl playing 3-5-2 Edited July 24, 2013 by davidg
ulysses
3 questions... 1. Is this a reprieve for Lee Mair? 2. I assume this is actually us playing with two wing backs? 3. If we're playing 3-5-2 is Grainger being lined up for left mid? I think Vanzy and Grainger are playing as wing backs, aye. I've not laid it out very well, I'll concede! lovestreet
Well get torn apart in the spl playing 3-5-2 Agree, our defence is shite. With DVZ and Cheesy we are already two men down.

Bart Simpson
I think Vanzy and Grainger are playing as wing backs, aye. I've not laid it out very well, I'll concede! Not at all. Just asking, hoping not to provide fuel to Danny's critics, but playing a potential left back at left mid in a trial seemed a bit strange...Certainly wing backs would solve the left sided issues of the team in one move, but would fly in the face of Lee Mair being surplus to requirements... sm74
3-5-2 according to Twitter. I'd guess something like -----------------Dilo---------------------- ----McAusland McGregor Mair---- Vanzy--Goodwin--Harkins--Grainger --------Reilly------------------------------ -----------------Thompson------------ Dillon sent off already? As with all pre-season friendlies...but just wondering how much the teams pre-season will reflect the set up when the season does start... Next weeks team should be pretty near what will start away to Inverness. Until then it's about getting everyone game time.

oaksoft
Could have been two. Apparently they've also hit the bar.

Magic Monkey
IIRC we played 3-5-2 against Celtic once. Gravesen scored a hat-trick. Happy to see us experiment with it again as long as it's consigned to the bin when it doesn't work.
