Big_Mougie
Ronnie MacKay on twitter reporting Sean Kelly to start at left back for todays game against Charlton. He is going to be giving live updates from the game on twitter. Will try my best to update this when he does (unless work gets in the way) for people who dont have twitter. Kick off is around half 10 I believe.

bluto
St Mirren side v Charlton: Cornell, van Zanten, McAusland, Goodwin, Kelly, McLean, McGowan, McGinn, Teale, Harkins, Thompson. Not an awful line-up.

Big_Mougie
Charlton skipper Johnnie Jackson found too much room and easily rounded Cornell to slot home. Charlton also came close to a second with cornell making a fine stop. St Mirren playing more like 4-3-3 with Teale on the right and Harkins on the left. Big_Mougie
Now reporting Teale and Harkins playing more behind Thompson in a supporting role.
Big_Mougie
States that David Cornell looks impressive - commanding in the box and a good save so far, could do nothing for the goal. Sounds promising!!!
Big_Mougie
Apart from the McLean effort we seemingly have been on the back foot most of the time. Final ball needs to improve.
Big_Mougie
And as he said that Harkins spreads a ball wide to Kelly who crosses into the box however Harkins can't quite connect. Good build up play though.
Big_Mougie
Encouraging from Saints with two good attacks in the last few mins. Some great skill from Harkins who takes two players out with a wee shuffle but shot from edge of box is blocked.
Big_Mougie
The Thommohawk then drags a shot just across goal and misses by inches.

Big_Mougie
Charlton were better side first half but Saints gradually came into it. Heat will play a factor in second half.
Big_Mougie
Six changes for St Mirren at half time...off: van Zanten, McAusland, McGinn, Teale, Harkins and Thompson...

Big_Mougie
Kealan Dillon has good run and shot which is parried by Charlton keeper
Murray7
Thought Yaqub would've got 45 mins. Wonder if Reilly will come on now for the Thommohawk?
