Next St Mirren Manager

Recommended Posts

I'd say the current st mirren team are the worst ever to play in the spl. Worst than gretna. We would struggle badly in the 1st division playing the way we are at the moment.

That Gretna team was much worse. Are you honestly trying to say Gretna had players better than Teale and Thommo?

Utter baws.

This squad, man for man, is one of the better ones, it's their inability to perform that is the issue.

This squad should be performing better, I wouldn't want to go back to the squad during Lennons first season for example.

I wasn't referencing other squads, purely looking at past v present St Mirren squads. I also think you are being unfair on most of the players mentioned above.

Is he any better than what we have already got. .

Today I feel like living dangerously. Life is too short and all that. Do something every day that scares you. Who dares wins and go for gold.

With my daredevil Thursday attitude I am going to be reckless beyond comprehension.

I have not read that article that the above link erm....links to. But I am going to say

YES

Sad thing is that I am probably right.

We should be rolling in money because the cash generated by the cup run/win clearly hasn't been re-invested in the playing side. Anyway , the likelihood is that Danny will be paid off in the same way as Gus , that is he will continue to receive his basic monthly wage until his contract expires. We may well have to pay a bit of compo for a new boss , but that happens at every club , cash-strapped Killie and Dundee Utd have both had to do it recently !

It's depressing that fans like you clearly don't understand how basic finance works.

If you want to know how basic finance works, speak to big Lee Mair - SM salary, Herballife business and metafit class at the Dome. If basic finance rules include making as much as you can then he knows the score.

The situation we are in at the moment is not one that any of us are happy with, but realistically as others have said we can't do anything about that. What we can do is support the Club that we all love and if it is the case that the manager/players/board change then we'll do what we've always done and support the club to the extent that we can and endure the tough times and revell in the good times that suppporting St Mirren has always provided. It feels a bit like standing by a bedside, waiting on the life support machine to be turned off.

There is nothing we can do about it, that much is true, but it is increasingly difficult to feel in any way positive about the prognosis for all that.

Maybe the alleged new Swiss owners will have a euthanasia policy similar to their home country that means we can speed it up, if they are actually going to buy the club.

nah they'd probs go to Ross County or St J's and be pushing for Europe, a la Brittain, Carey, Nigel, paddy Cregg etc. Most players do well away from St Mirren but some players are at their very best at St Mirren.
