TsuMirren
Wait a minute, the BOD themselves said they never even spoke to anyone else before giving it to TC.... Suddenly there was actually others not only being spoke to, but actually being offered the job?? I smell shite. All I know is that the Dumbarton coaching staff felt he was away, it was the word on the street so to speak.
billymehmet1
I spoke to mark McLaughlin ex Morton accies Clyde Who was at Dumbarton during the summer he did say we were Intrested in Ian Murray but cause jack Ross had a big fall out with board Murray wouldn't take it
billymehmet1
It's funny that someone else is actually saying the exact same thing an actual footballer told me
class of 76-77
I can't believe that our directors would give the job to Ian Murray. No thanks there are far better managers looking for work. The same applies to Barry Smith, both would be terrible appointments.
TopCat
All I know is that the Dumbarton coaching staff felt he was away, it was the word on the street so to speak. Didn't he sign a 2 year deal with Dumbarton before Lennon left?

Hambud
Gary Naismith looks interesting at 20/1.got himself sent off yesterday, would that save us 2 weeks off the compo we'd need to pay for him?
Fergie87
Gary Naismith looks interesting at 20/1. One season in charge when East Fife had money. Relegated. Interesting? How come? His interview when he got the job made DL look like Einstein.
TsuMirren
He signed the 2 year deal the day after we announced we wouldn't be renewing DL'S contract. Having already been sounded out, Jack Ross left pretty soon after also. Then again, maybe they didn't sound him out or try getting league clubs to accept a 14 team top flight. beyond our ken
Again as a point of discussion, the comments about having a very young squad and the lack of experienced signings can only add to the harmony within the squad... if they are men and proper competitors then they take it on the chin as valid comment from an experienced and respected senior pro and kick on to prove him wrong or they are smoked out as not (yet) good enough
Murray7
Stark on the radio there effectively saying that he's applied.
Fergie87
Stark is a product of TC. Rule him out.

dakota7
Stark is a shocking manager. If that is our choice then we are fecked
billymehmet1
Yep stark can remember him at Morton . St Johnstone and was terrible manager. Hope the directors don't go down that route of old player need fresh ideas stark is like folk say from the tc mould
JJ McG
Please don't give it to Gary Teale. Thank you.
SuperSaints 12
Managers who have expressed an interest: Billy Stark, Jamie Fullarton, Barry Smith, Gary Teale and Stevie Thompson Only Billy Stark out of that list would be an ideal candidate. aldo_j
Billy Stark? On what evidence is he ideal? Hopefully you're not on the board.
SuperSaints 12
Out of that list apart from stark is ideal then ?
Callum Gilhooley
Out of that list apart from stark is ideal then ? No , Billy stark may be the best qualified on THAT list but far from ideal !!
aldo_j
Out of that list apart from stark is ideal then ? Nobody from that list. Just because they've went public doesn't mean they are the only people interested. And, from that list, I would take everyone else before Stark.
